Probably go for an LX 2 door Torrie with a 350 in it.
If I were going Commo it'd be a black VT/VX SS. If I could afford it, current model Liberty GT/3.0. |

Assuming no more Blue Oval (and grow up all those who think they'd die if they ever sat in a Holden) I'd probably aim for:
* Mazda3 or 6 of some sort * VX SS (nicest looking out of VT/VX/VY/VZ IMHO) * Mazda Bravo Dual Cab 4cyl, lowered with 17's (yes im aware of the stereotype but who cares - some of them look great!).

I'd get a R33 GTS-T, or a R32 GTR, or a 180SX type X, or a S14a 200sx!! It would definetly be jap, i'd also consider a FAST VL Turbo, but it would have to be pretty special.

Just noticed that it's if E series would disappear! If I had heaps more money, i'd get a XR6 Turbo or a AU3 Ghia.

I’m not going to start some geeky cyber fight, but you have an arrogance about you that is incredibly annoying. Which brings me to "your type". While obviously not all people are like this, the majority are. VL turbo owners think: just because there engine is capable of some speed, they think there car is shit hot and will kill anything on the road. Well done there mate..you must be so proud. They have absolutely no respect for anyone else; they are pig-headed beyond belief. They think it takes some kind of skill to do a doughy/burnout in the middle of town. While I don’t like the show; watch ACA or TT and look at the majority of people who are the d!ckheads; Holden drivers (VL-VS mainly). I’m not saying this is you to a tee, but for someone to contemplate wanting one of these cars you fall into this esteemed category; and from what I read on this forum you sure do have some traits. What you type is what you think, what you think is who you are. Simple as that.

All the VL turbo owners I know are nothing like that. All of them respect decent cars when they see them, some of them even have the fully sik paint jobs and custom plates. I think your view on Commodore drivers is seriously warped. There are a lot of ****ers, but hardly all of them. No need to get all abusive because one VP owner told you all Fords are gay.
Jesus christ, it's just a type of car. There are dickheads who drive Fords as well you know? Perhaps it's time to go back to bagging twin exhausts on 4 cylinders. And what's with all the love for over priced Toyotas?! |

Chicken - of course there are "good" people that drive VL's. They are as rare as hens teeth though. And yes I do know alot of tools that drive Ford. Like some gymp I saw today shooting form one lane to another in his mock AU S1 T series.

Im thinking about a possibility of getting a mini cooper as a project for the future. Something I can do up with at least 100hp. I reckon that would be fun.

VL's are pretty cool, my mate has a turbo 5spd wagon, he is definetly not like that(even though he came to my house yesterday after he ran away from a cop, because he was in fear of getting defected again : I got 2 other mates who also have VL's and their not like that either. I suppose you get dip shits in every type of car. Anyways back on topic, jap cars are the best after fords :Reverend:

I have a mate with yet another stupidly quick VL turbo, but as it gets faster its always breaking things, i guess thats what you would expect though lol
Anyway back to the point he actually loved my car when he first saw it, he wasnt like 'oh its a ford I have a VL im the sickest uleh' in summary "Dont judge a book by its cover" |

haha that was a funny read. My mum drives a mildly done up VS, and she gets a lot of Ford guys trying to run her, same with commodores ricers etc etc. Polyal, I hardly ever see VL Turbo drivers missbehaving on the roads, it's more often then not the N/A VL's VN's etc, who feel they have somthing to prove. My Nan drives a VL. She wants to respray it and put some of those 'wheels without the hubcaps' on it. : That is kinda irrelevant but i love my nan. I think this thread was well off topic, from the begining, most people are posting cars they'd only dream of owning if they had the money. Not if Eseries wern't around. Seriously the Falcons and Commodores are a much of muchness, Same shit different smell. They are both aussie RWD cars that are appealing to young guys. I might talk nan into spraying her VL yellow. That'd be sik, cause I think she's gunna give it to me when she stops driving. :eclipsee_ |

I'd probably go a FC3S or FD3S RX7. And in true drift style would have to be dumped and running massive deep dish rims.
Actually, probably a replica of the Apex-i FD3S D1 car. That thing is phat. Definately something with 2 doors and somewhat distinguishable from a taxi. - John |

yeah i thought we were supposed to be posting up cars that you 'could' actually own if you didn't have a ford....not stupidly expensive wish list cars that your never gonna be able to afford.
Like imagine you sold your Ford tomorrow, what other car could you seriously afford? I wanna add another to my list of VS 5lt and VL-T. I like the Nissan 180SX....RWD, turbo 2lt, strong motor and gearbox, 2door and a lift back that is AWESOME when u have some big subs in the back! I'd add a better looking Silvia front (making it a mock up Sileighty) or else a S15 front for something a bit different, maybe a widebody kit and and spray it a wild colour with some big white powdercoated wheels for that street racer look. This one's based on a S13 Silvia but still the same type of thing....it'd just have a lift back. |

I'd have a 180SX with the SR20 motor in it. They handle well, the motors are bulletproof, and they are probably within my budget if I hadn't wasted so much money on 3 e-series over the years!
