A very very large bandsaw, the kind that rips trees in half lengthways. Watched it take a leg off a fella once. Wasn't too bad though, he was a Kiwi.

(I'm kidding - it was actually quite horrible)

I've operated our 8-tonne mobile slewing cranes and a 26m bucket truck. The view from the top of that was awesome, its even better looking down when your over the river and and the river bank is 20m high or so too.

Might get a chance to drive my mates dad's combine, a CAT 480R.

G'day all. I worked at a C.Q. coal mine and got to operate these: D10 & D11 dozers, 992 & 994 loaders. (the 994 had joystick controls, no steering wheel) 16G grader, 120ton belly dump haul trucks, 789 rear dumpers (180 ton) and a Marathon Letourneau electric drive loader (about the same size as a 994). If you like big toys this place is heaven.

This was one of my jobs when driving. We transported these 50 ton bridge beams from Melbourne to Robinvale for the new Robinvale-Euston bridge over the Murray.

ive driven.. my AU fairlane

a decent sized CNC router (was about 4 meters long used to run each end separatly
so you could start a job on 1 end and prep the job for the other end then when it finished the 1st job it would move and start the 2nd job)

ive driven Linde and Crown electric pallet trucks(stand on and drive) (supercheap auto warehouse)
and now have a fork ticket and have driven an electric high reach fork which i use daily
and used a gas sit down regular forklift a few times (3rd time ever driving a sit down was for my test)

at my new job(Motion Industries) they do alot of work with the mines out mackay way (emerald i think?)
we pack the container full of parts for the Rebuilds/Shutdowns of the draglines
well our mackay branch does, so im hoping to get a look around a dragline one day in the future and i cant wait!!

Sat in the right hand seat of a 747-400 in the cruise at FL350 for about 10minutes.
Apart from making the gentlest of turns, she was on auto pilot, but still like to deceive myself that I was flying her.

Thats a bit naughty... you shouldn't go past 5 notch when there is no load on the engine as those GMs have semi floating pistons.

For weight: A coal train in the hunter valley weighing about 8,100t with triple 90 class locos.

For Length: A Container train to Junee. 1.2km long, but only about 2,000t. Locos were 2 NRs and an AN.

Biggest would be a Komatsu PC1250 Hydraulic Excavator (100T) about a fix the size of the PC5500 at the top of the page. (I work for Komatsu). Oh and by the way MadCow the biggest dozer Cat makes is a D11, the D9's and the D10's are the most common.
