I'll add fuel gauge as well, always sitting on full, even when on the side of the road thristy...

...im thinking of making a move, called 'running on full', and it will be about a young mans struggle to push a falcon to the servo...

2) Fuel consumption 302 windsor in my EF fairmont doing the same as my EF Gli i6
3) Bootlid leaking because of spoiler on the fairmont
4) Cooling system sucks on the v8's.....have had many issues with it
5) resale value kind of sucks, good if your buying one though

I must say the best thing about E Series is "They are just so damn SEXY" dont need big kits to make them look good, just a set of Front clearies, wheels and Tints.

E Series ROCK (even if they are 10-20 year old **** boxes)

Dislike .1. driver seat back support sucks .. not enough padding .. I get a sore back after driving a few hrs ..

I cant get over how many people have problems with there fuel gauge .. I have never had a problem with any of mine ....
as for the creaking in the front end ... maybe I'm wrong and its not just my car .. seems a lot of you guys have the same problem.

I'm another one with fuel gauge issues. When my fuel gauge is above half, it regularily drops out. It goes to empty, the fuel light comes on, and then eventually it works it's way back up before it does it again. I'm pretty sure this is caused by a faulty fuel sender.

As for the creaking, as I've already mentioned, mine's been doing it for ages. I'm just hoping that when I replace the ball joints, it'll stop it.

-Dash rattles
-Rear door seals stick
-Front doors keep sagging
-Water pours out of the drivers door when I open it after its been raining
-Center air vent has come loose
-The usual broken console lid
-Drives smooth one day but then rough the next day
-Some wierd click sound in the engine bay somewhere that happens sometimes when idling
-Clunky drivetrain
-Central locking that is makes an embarrasingly loud groan
-Padding on drivers seat collapsing, atually the whole seat has pretty well had it
-Rear door window seal damaged and tint missing from when someone broke into it
-The spoiler, and the paint cracking on the spoiler
-Red stripe on back is faded
-Its slow

-And the fact that im too hoplessly lazy to fix it all.

My car is pretty good. No major complaints and off the top of my head have only had to replace the alternator since I've had it.

Though.

1. V8 cooling system leaks. I've been fobbing it off til the engine comes out. At last count water pump, upper rad hose has a pin hole in it, heater tap and a few random gaskets.
2. Friggin BW diff cone packs. Now single pegging on left and right hand turns. Lokka can't come quick enough.
3. V8s in standard form are gutless as hell.
4. ****weak brakes. Soon to be fixed though.

And apparently blend motor. I didn't drive the car last winter so I didn't know but the heater is shithouse.

Yes I have that as well, any ideas of what it could be?

I hope when I change my engine over that random sound will go with the old crappy engine!

Heater blend door
Power window regulators
Door Locks
Brake shudder and lack of braking.

The first time I drove my Focus, hitting the brakes almost made me fly through the front windscreen

1. When I make a tight turn I hear massive loud creaking noise, which sounds like my cat rubbing on something. Very irritating, but obviously fixable.
2. The ride height, but again, will be changed with new springs.
3. Fuel eco is pretty lousy. But that's also due to my driving.

Eh, I'm not exactly complaining. I know that my driving doesn't help, so it's partly my fault.

theres only one real annoying thing about my EB, the seatbelt doesnt feed through the hole automatically anymore. i have to manually stuff it down there if i don't want to slam the door on it. oh and the lid on the middle console is hanging on by one screw. SO annoying. but i guess its my lazy fault for not getting it fixed.

Ah man, im pretty sure my heater is playing up too, and this is the first time I have heard of a blend door...crap! When I get some time ill suss it out.

Yeah I dont get the FE complaints either. Its an oldish car now, thats large, has a biggish engine and weigh a bit; it was never going to be good. But in saying that I still get 600k's even with the 1636 now (but thats trying..LOL).
