jeez, holden are STILL using the 'celebrate bathurst month sale' thingo on the radio AFTER that tail-kicking, and are probably doing ok from it, so what the hell is fords problem?
If Holden do well in the sales after their Bathurst showing then in my mind it proves that using the race results for advertising is pointless....
Ford got 7 hours of excellent exposure on sunday arvo.. from a hefty investment in the Ford teams, all part of their marketing/advertising spend. If people need an ad to tell them Ford won then they probably arent interested in the race anyway....

Ford might not want to waste $ on the BA-BF Falcon because its finishing up, not wanting to pour money down the drain, the Falcon advertised itself by being on camera and in front at both enduro races this year.
The plunge on the Cobra was because it was a runout.
Were the Ingall and Ambrose Falcons a failure in sales and profit because we have not had a Lowndes Bathurst special, will we get one if he wins the series???

Here is your Lowndes edition, lol. Not a bathurst special, but still a Lowndes special.

How often does Ford do a clean sweep of the podium??

They should have saturated the media with this and leave everyone in no doubt that Ford is #1 at the mountain.

Umm, a week ago there was an ad the the Herald-Sun Drive with a 1-2-3 Bathurst thing. Bout half a page, and it wasn't just a dealer thing. I think it was "celebrate Fords 1-2-3 with this 1-2-3 of great deals, with the Craig Lowndes ute, XR6 at 39990 and Territory 36990. Suprised me a bit, but still nothing.
Even Holden is doing stuff on Bathurst, with "Super deal for a Super car". I wonder how many people will be lead into believing Holden won bathurst because of this ad.

I was thinking the same due to some people I know not into the car seen. That ad had them convinced Holden won. I don't blame Holden for taking advantage of Fords stupidity.
