another good meeting spot is the caltex/maccas/red rooster on the m4 WESTBOUND.

we met there for the bathurst cruise. in the maccas carpark and turned it into gridlock.

the red rooster carpark or truck bay would be heaps better.

Yeah either there or McGraths Hill Maccas .. has a decent size carpark ... or the street in front of WindFord ... which is right next door as well.

Good spot to start from.. Everybody can meet there, its a servo, so anyone that forgets to fill up can do so.. (it happens)... :

Only thing is, I've read the thread 3 or so times, and unless I'm going blind, cant see a time mentioned anywhere...
May i suggest 9am, or am I the earlybird???

Mate it is hard to cruise through Sydney. Cars get left behind at traffic lights and the group gets lost. I'm only in North Sydney and have a good mate in Balgowlah. If you want to organise a meet up night thats an idea but really the cruises are better suited to areas out west with better roads, less cops and traffic lights!

Sounds good, In summer time I'm down there all the time, just ask the local coppers! Great perv and the food on the corso is good too. It is a good place for a photo shoot (North head, along the beach at queenscliff, anywhere up the beaches really) maybe we can encourage people to make the trip east but i'd say we wait till its a little warmer and daylight savings time!

hehe, yer yer... You tend to have lag issues with N/A, forever waiting for power...

Main reasons we don't tend to do beaches runs are mainly that:

1) Traffic and lights, everyone gets lost
2) Most people here prefer a "spirited" drive, and these areas aren't the areas for that
3) Escape Sydney, the recent putty road run was a hoot and no one complained...

Summer is a ripper time for beaches, palm beach run and then through city at night and out to Liverpool krispy kreme's is a ripper run, and awesome on a saturday evening / night. Dinner at Newport Arms hotel...

Me personally, I prefer to escape the snobby yuppy trash that Sydney accumulates and go feral out bush, but sometimes that same yuppy trash is also good for laughs....

Having said that mate, if you're keen, get a run mapped out, and post it up and see what happens!!!

Cheers

I'm no expert but I think alot of the underbody stuff is rooted. diff is definately stuffed and some suspension components....I'm pretty sure the chassis is ok as most of it was done by mounting a couple kerbs. I went and had a look at it tonight (first time since the smash on thurs night) I nearly cried! Won't be chasing any TB XT's for awhile...lol
