as far as im concerned i was happy! the directions could improve, but hey thats what u get i spose, the only, and one and ONLY other thing i can suggest is not have it in the city, reasons being; traffic lights were a bitach! causing every one to loose people and get lost because they didnt have a map. broke people up into about 5-7 different groups and som people were traveling by themselves. i was happy with it, that unra9ed ***** can go eat a dogs ИИИИ! sick of bastards like u bringing people down, socialising is GOOD imagine driving for 4 hours STRAIGHT and not stopping, what if people needed to p!ss? and again people will get lost because there are NO meet points, as far as im concerned, you can go suck som hairy horse balls because u dont belong here if u are going to say cr4p like that!

go make your own cruise and get every single little thing perfect, get the lights to stay green while every one drives thru it, like to see u try!

i didnt have a problem with the cruise, i understand why we "hung" around at the bunnings carparks for so long especially the sandown one, because once i got to sandown people were still stuck in the city, so i know why we waited

the point of a cruise is to stay together, so the bunnings act as a regroup point, and a show and shine and i recon that AdzELXR, EFFalcon & every one else did a great job of organising the cruise, and they should be applauded for how it went

Isn't part of a 'cruise' all about meeting points to have a chat etc!!!
And another important part of every cruise is 'getting lost' :

or is that just a 'me' thing . :

i recon the getting lost bit adds a bit of fun to the cruise, no one can expect a group of 50+ cars to stay together the whole way to the next meet point

too right!!!
if you dont like the cruises or how they are organised, no body is forcing you to go are they?
For the people that didnt enjoy it or dont like the way things are run, then organise your own cruises or meets (oops sorry, no time for that, we could be driving) or better still start your own clubs, so they work the way that you want!!

I know a lot of guys do enjoy these cruises. obviously theres a few that dont, but hey...

I think i might take a break from doing cruises for the time being. Someone else put there hand up and do a cruise. And by that someone, i mean the people that didnt like the last cruise and get on here and whinge. Be pro-active for once and get one happening yourselves.

another idea for maps is that it should actually be a extract from a melways, even a photo copy and have the route highlighter with streets before and after the street people are meant to go down, that way its easier to kno were u are going, and u should make it a free thing but donations are encorouged. that way every one will get one and people will surly donate a gold coin just out of good will

the only real problem with that is.....as john mentioned.... half the people whinging about it cant even read a bloody map....

so regardless if you give them map directions or an actual map theyre still gonna get lost....

its not that they can't read a map.
its that they refuse.
they'd rather follow and hope for the best.
even i use the map!

Ok I wasn't on your cruise, kind of too far away :
but, on the cruises I have been to here (qld), we have maps... and yes I do try very hard to read them... then the uhf is supposed to help for those moments when reaching for the map just isnt a good option......

So seriously, the ones that whinge about a cruise, ask them honestly if they had a uhf...if not, stop their ИИИИИing.......

but from what I have gotten out of this thread, the ones that are complaining, are so about the stopping so often, the parking for too long...
This is something that you will not win with, there are those that want to drive and drive and drive (to heck with catching up with each other etc), then there are those that want to actually have stops to chat.......

Good luck with sorting THAT issue out... there is one but only one solution, Im sure most can figure it out....
Give the organisers a break for goodness sake

Heh Heh. What a kafuffle that was!!!!!!

I didnt have a problem with the meet points along the way. It was good to stop and chat and admire the cars. Also gave us time to skip a meet point when we were lost, and soldier on to the next. It was only 15 mins before the rest of the group arrived.
Also, we have a decent cruise with minimal stopping at the end of the year.
The Geelong E-Series events cruise co-ordinator has something in the pipeline soon. Cant wait!

Great job, Adam and John. Thanks to Snyper, Jase and Swanny for getting "The Lost Group" to Bunnings on Warrigal Rd!

If people want more 'cruising' and less 'split groups of eseries' maybe it shoudln't be in friday night traffic in the city but maybe it could detoure in a more local environment which would also be better for advertisment of the club. Say through williamstown or something.

However I do agree organising these things are hard and if you look at friday nights cruise on the posstive side, overall it was a success in terms of a turnout and a good night out.

Ive been on 4 Cruise over the past 12 months, each being great. Adam and John take it on board to organise and run these cruises for us members to enjoy and meet other members from the club. For the people who arnt happy with the runnings of these cruises its simple, just dont come, or as mentioned above organise a cruise yourself for everyone to attend.

Everyone is allowed to voice there opinions, thats how things can be changed or improved. But at the same time theres a time and a place, maybe a PM to either John or Adam before opening it upto the others in a thread.

Keep up the good work Adam and John!!!

Cheers Paul

was a great cruise! I know I had a little go at all the Bunnings meet points in the other thread but i guess it makes sence. You do a great job Adam and if you need a hand with anything, like mapping things out or testing cruise routes i'm more than happy to help out, as i'm sure others are too.

ONly suggestion I have (and i don't think it will go down well) is how about we have an open cruise, ie open to all cars like the CCC do, I reckon we could get a pretty damn good attendance and it would be a great atmosphere.

Keeps up the good work boys!

Go Resie ;) The autobarn / homemaker carpark you COULD fit alot of cars in but at night its kinda asking for trouble a little sadly. The police are kinda funny about people hanging around there after store hours ive been informed by guys who work at the epping store.

Adam you have been doing a great job. For someone who isnt a comitee member and going to all the effort shows dedication. I mean I am myself getting alittle bored with the night cruises that are just randomly around melbourne but thats just me :P doesnt mean that you should change it everyone else should be able to enjoy it. As I feel now, if the cruise doesnt interest you, then dont go. They are not manditory to attend :

The fact of the matter is if you can't appreciate the time people put into the cruise's dont attend them, suggestions are one thing, baging in hidden agenders is a nother.

pat.

i for one love the's cruizes and i'd hate for the guys that get them up and running give up coz thay cant take and dont want to put up with the criticism
