That idea has merit a tribute to the car that started the Falcon GT.....Maybe Ford could do something special as a consolation to losing the Falcon , even if it cost`s them a few bucks it will at least show they cared about it.

XR GT gold would be great.
I'd rather something subtle like that, as opposed to tacky badges and stripes. Enthusiasts would lap it up.

We need to get back to issue of the 50th Falcon GT Celebrations not go on and on about what will never be, there will be no more new GT Falcons so this article is in the Classics for a reason. 50 years ago puts it there.
I don't think Ford will be too interested in retro advertising so it'll be a grass roots celebration and it needs to be starting now to get as many GT owners involved. go to www.falconxrgt.com if you have a genuine interest in the Falcon GT. Obviously the first Gt will be an emphasis in it but the celebration is for the Falcon GT marque. |
