Again, if it somehow offends you, no where you can enjoy yourself. Don't bring to conversation down here for those who are enjoying the game with it's rules.

I'm very confused why a basic thread (sure it may not be perfect etc) to create some discussion among car lovers is bothering you so much? |

Sheesh, no rules, has some rules. You're right, I've misunderstood the thread. And I still like the Corvette!

I'm just saying, if you win 100K, you don't have to spend it now. I'm glad you all understand.

That's why I limited the amount so no Lambos etc get involved. Reasonably "normal/affordable" cars only so just a fun thread to hear other options people like etc |

For the sake of the discussion, 300 SRT is available new off the showroom floor. Otherwise It'd be a WNII Caprice w/LS3 would be my pick for sub $100K car if it was 2017. |

It's interesting as I love the new Supra (I nearly bought one two decades ago as a youngster - loved it's tough look (burgundy I nearly signed but head gasket leaking.....apparently very common) so I bought a Honda Integra instead......it was a fantasticly reliable car but i should have gone the Supra as worth much more now. Stupid me!!) - never seen a new Supra in Hobart. Last edited by MercuryT; 09-05-2020 at 12:36 AM. |

He's in Adelaide, we can go to The Firm together!
On a serious note I bought a new WS Fiesta CL for $18K back in 2009 as my first car, if I was buying my first car again in 2020 it would be a Kia Picanto GT I reckon, same price. |

Well we exported them to replace a solid performer in the Crown Vic. The Holden Caprice PPV was a much better car in every way.

If I have to buy a car and I’m not allowed to keep any change (I’m not going to worry about currency exchange rates etc since it’s all hypothetical anyway), C8 Corvette Stingray Z51.

I don’t mind playing this silly game within the OP’s stated rules …….. less than $100K. New. No Fords.
Personal preferences ………. (SUVs and trucks not welcome). Has to be V8 (but no Commodores left), Coupe (Camaro, Mustang, but no Mustang allowed), must be pleasing to look at (scratch Camaro). I don’t want to play this silly game anymore, there is nothing there. Buy beer, and lament the demise of affordable performance Australian cars. |

Sure, there are a few buzz boxes that are just as fast (or faster) but I understand liking a new V8 sedan that you could get new in a manual for under $100k...

The Ford bit wasn't the issue, I just like to have at least 6 wheels or more.
