and i still reckon you wont go any better than that with a CFI car.....

just as a suggestion, why not get somebody from e-series to stand up as a guinnea pig and edit their car to get a true indication of what it can do

if i had an e-series I6 i'd be jumping for the chance.

cost? its about 760 for the chip and switchbox thats all i know
how much to tune as i'm aware at this early stage tuning will be very expensive
i have a 91 eb 5.0l with a turbo being fitting now so will this chip work or am i better off getting a full ECU like wolf 3d or haltec for a little bit more money?
cheers

I would think it would depend on a few different issues - the main one being what "other" things are run by the ECU. In an AU/BA/BF the edit is weapon of choice, even for 1000hp systems.

Until we see E series forced cars, we wont know.

hey chris,
just wondering if you have any other Dyno results from 6cyl E-series?
if you want i can PM you my mates engine specs and you could just have a stab in the dark at what you would think it would make at the rear wheels? (with your edit tune)
it would be easyier then calling you and giving them to you over the phone i think....

Dan, I dropped in and saw Chris approx 8 months before I could afford to get a tune done. Despite his busy schedule and phone ringing bloody non stop he will put the time in to have a chat, very approachable person. Best thing to do mate, have a chat, get an idea, and you will never look back.

Chris, sorry for not coming in recently. Will do very soon........

Hi mate,

yeah, what a small world!!! two of my high school teachers still there - i thought they would be off with everyone else recieving therapy!!

Go easy on Colin my old yr12 co ordinator - I made sure our year 12 study trip was exciting - serves the teachers right for organising a study trip at Lorne, and staying at a place right on the beach.........

What did they think we were going to do? : :

I led the pack - and Col will remind you, i paid the price. However, i didn't give my mates up, thats the main thing!!

This world is too small. Keep what we did on muck up day hush hush too, they still dont know it was me, i might have to write out a cheque if they find out!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
yeh mate colin remembers you, so does Mullet, and Pobjoy,
colin asked what you ended up doing, i told him and he was amazed
when i told mullet man, i got the best re-action, he got real peed off and yet was laughing at the same time, i thought that was pretty good.

Its funny - i never really had any drama's with these blokes, all good guys and they had a handful with me as a student. I have calmed in my older years.......

I bet they remember my little brother - see what reaction you get there!!
