Well, I thank you gents for waking me up to the fact that allocations are out there. I'm pretty pi55ed that my dealer didn't contact me to advise that that was the case.

This morning I called my guy. I'm number twelve with eleven allocated to the dealership. Never in the history of the world have a dealer not had any drop-outs....so I've got a Bullitt!!

700 confirmed cars for Australia.

My dealer is getting three in October, three in November, and one a month up until April 2019.....so I'll get my car in May at the latest.

Oh, and all Bullitt's are 2019 models.

Well, of all the people who've posted in this thread, I'm the only one who's mentioned that they're in the queue.

I can therefore confidently state I've got a better chance of owning a 2019 Mustang Bullitt than any FF keyboard warrior

Craig, you had an opportunity to update the thread when your dealership received info of their allocation (and to be honest, as a salesman who had previously posted in this thread I expected you would).

When you said out of nowhere you had a Bullitt to sell, you can't be surprised that that info wouldn't be taken seriously.

That said, today I'm a happy camper...and it's because your post prompted me to call my dealer .

All our paying customers were updated, not all of Australia

You expect me to post in here our allocation (which were all sold fyi pre allocation release, we just happen to secure another through our sister store) and the dealer you order through didn't even ring you, I wonder why?

Enjoy your new car bud!

It was taken seriously and it sold, you were the only doubter, and pretty much called me a liar in a roundabout way. .

Craig, I’ve thanked you a few times today and yet you’re still poking me with a stick.

You ain’t gonna burst my bubble, ‘cos at the end of the day I’m going to own a Bullitt...and you won’t.

Well he's got a fifty-fifty chance of owning a Bullitt anyway.
Hope he gets it.

^^^^The Bullitt uses the black GT350 inlet manifold (which is apparently a little taller than the stock gunmetal GT inlet).

The GT350 doesn't have an engine cover as it supposedly fouls the strut tower bar......so we can assume the Bullitt will go without as well.

Maybe fuel? 93 octane in the US is about the equivalent of our 98. Maybe it's only tuned to run 95? Or emissions, or noise?

Either way it's a little dissapointing. But a tune should really wake this thing up.

I was thinking fuel, different way of measuring or different tune to meet emissions but apparently some US states have more stringent emission requirements than us so who knows.

Whipple & Tune would make it a monster

Ford has improved the issue with RHD exhaust manifold restrictions but not completely eliminated it.
345 Kw is 462 hp which is still quite good, maybe SAE HP is measured slightly differently to
DIN (Euro and Aust cars)

The difference (and correct me if im wrong guys) SAE readings are done: engine without accessories (alternator, radiator fan, water pump)

DIN accounts for these engine accessories...
