Been doing some little research today about how was going to this, so far i think ive come up with a good plan.
Using TFI Maf Adapter PN: 9018 $20
SAAS 45 degree allow 3" bend 250mm long. PN: AP7645P $35
SAAS 3" Hose clamps (heavy duty ones) PN: SSHC76 $7ea use 5.
3" silicon pipe, half a meter.
And k&n 3x12" tapered pod.
Will post up photos etcc if any else is going to be interested.

i wonder where you got that info from i'm pretty sure the angle you need is 60 degree not 45 ??

Haha cheers mate, i reckon 45 might do it because im going to use a short 45 over a long 60, havent bought it yet, need to do some more measurements etc but will report back!
