Red bag of Doritos with the Doritos branded "hot" salsa dip.
I also like having orange juice with it for some reason. Probably not most peoples first choice of drink.

Two things

Pods - Mars, Twix, Snickers, doesn't matter, I can't have them around otherwise I'd devour them all.

Kri kri peanuts - As above

Pubs in South Australia but it could be case of different names each state has for their beers.

I love left over stew (meat or chicken) topped with garlic mash, wrapped in puff pastry baked until golden brown, yumm very nice Roddy, have a crack at that mate!!

Stews or casseroles are always better re heated. It's the same term we use at work for clients who are always difficult in the morning but once they warm up in the arvo are alright. And yes, garlic mash or pretty much garlic anything is where its at. I won't say no to garlic mushrooms. Fried baby potatoes with garlic and bacon goes hard.

I love brisket, or pork shoulder cooked in my converted 44 gal drum smoker. I smoke the brisket for 15 or so hours, Bloody magnificent!!!!
Love shanks, but as others have said, the price of them have just gone nuts, especially when you have 4 kids too.
Oh yeah Rum and raisin ice cream.

Pints in every pub and watering hole in The Alice for the real blokes only of course, skirt wearing blokes with gel hair and waxed eyebrows get the schooners!

Don't get me started on SA pubs calling schooners a pint. A pint is an imperial measurement and a schooner doesn't even come close!!

Gets confusing with all the different terms, and same terms being different sizes in different states...pots, middies, schooners, butchers, pints etc.

For consistency, I just drink yard glasses.

I'm in Victoria so each state probably has their own version of what a pint is or isn't - even the shapes of the glass can vary from pub to pub. I drink schooners too, and again they can vary in shape. Pint and a parma just sounds better.

I was a pot fan until I started going to Irish pubs. But nothing wrong with pot & parma when your the designated driver - to be sure.

Speaking of Mexicans, a plate of nachos doesn't last long long around me and I purposely avoid making taco's because I can't stop at 3.

Well you cannot get jugged drinking schooies.
But nothing beats walking into the ac of the pub local to the job with the boys from work after a solid day working outside and grabbing a quick beer before heading off home. Anything work related gets left behind and its 20 minutes of relaxation.

Favourite eat out meal around Sydney is chicken schnitzel, salad and beer battered chips, gravy on the side.
When I'm in Victoria I can never get my head around the attraction of parmies.
Start with a beaut crispy fried chicken schnitzel, then smothers it with cheese and tomato sauces. Sort of losers the point of a crumbed crispy fried coating. I get suspicious of any meal covered in sauces and cheese as to how fresh it is.

We picked about a dozen of the mussels off the rocks and boiled the billy on a quick made fire .,In and out of the boiling water for a few minutes until they opened up and .......keep your oysters , I LOVE MUSSELS.. If they don't open when cooking, they're no good . Pretty epic cooked on a barbie too ..VERY NICE INDEED.

even on their own just cooked enough , nothing on them they're a treat but overcooked they're ruined . Sometimes I put a tiny dribble of worcestershire sauce on them . Only shellfish I prefer more is scallops .
I have to revisit this one. Not shell fish, instead pan fish from freshwater streams, creeks and small rivers.

My Dad was a tree cutter when I was younger and helping him after school and on weekends was one of my after school jobs. During fishing season, often we would go to a nearby "fishing hole" after work to catch a little dinner. We would start a fire and after the first couple fish we would cook them up right there.

Fresh pan fish from the water to the pan, cooked in butter, some pepper and a little salt. Delicious.

Some day old recopies too. Some left over catfish (channel or blue cat, none of that mud cat or any catfish from a pond) and mashed potatoes. Mix together, add a couple eggs, some bread crumbs, garlic, pepper, little salt, make them into pancakes and fry in butter until golden. Also, delicious.

Home made borscht (don't let myth or a pretenders recipe fool you) and home made chicken soup. Or as my lady says, soup of chicken. Delicious the first time around, even better a day or two later.

Then it is time for the cookies and cream ice cream.
