Even though i didnt attend the cruise, i agree 100% with this comment. Cops are just doin their job but a small minority of ******* make it so hard for us decent guys to have a fun and care free night.

I agree - but apparently he didn't do this - it was only 100...so he tells me anyway *shrugs*

Maybe Chris can tell us what really happened so he can clear his name of some underlying controversy ?

Negatives aside, it was a good night with heaps of cars - everyone was relatively well-behaved.

Agh. Chinese whispers again ..

Sunny ash and I came into DFO via the service station entrance, bit further up than the main entrance. This was after I had rang john to see where you guys were. We came into the petrol station bit, and a cop turned up behind Ash who was up the back of us. By the time the cop had turned up behind ash, I was already half way through the front carpark of DFO (This is where I was driving fast, not the road, and the cop didn't see me driving fast) and by the time I got to the main entrance of DFO, the cop had pulled Sunny over back up near the service station entrance.

I turned my car around to go back to Sunny, but decided against this. I did a u-turn, turned right towards where you guys were. Got half way to you guys, and the lights were on behind me. He must have seen my headlights do the u-turn, and then decided to come after me.

Apparently, he said to Sunny:

If I had gone out on my own (main road) instead of coming towards you guys, I probably would have got reamed. Then he wouldn't have been nice to you guys.

The fact is, he didn't even see/have proof of me speeding. I was driving fast IN THE CARPARK in front of DFO. And by the time he got there/saw me, I was at the end ready to turn right to join the group.

Hope this clears some things up.

People should really get their facts straight before thinking that I was speeding along a public road, had a copper follow me into DFO, and that I somehow deliberately MEANT to bring a cop there. Obviously you guys don't have much faith in a 3+ year member of your club.

I kind of saw what was happening cause i just happen to leave when i saw your and sunny car at the light of DFO just as i came out but from then i didnt know what took place since the group kind of slowly went off

Sounds like it was an awesome cruise and a great turnout. Pitty I couldn't make it that night, had other things on.
As for the coppers turning up, it sounds about as much to be expected after the whole noble park thing and the 'hoon' blitzing.

hey guys jus wana say another good cruise.good meeting points and easy to read maps... lot of new cars that i havnt seen b4.jus too bad the cops were hanging round and jus wana know how OPLEASE went wit his diff axle on the way home.all in all was a good nite...
