AU3 XR8's the most enjoyable of them all in that price range, also quite reliable. You can't in wrong.

how much longer is it going to take to save another $5k to get into a car for $20k.

At that point you are looking at BF turbos.

i got a bf 6 speed turbo 6 months ago for 19k.
i waited to be able to get the 6 speed.,
if you can,or have you take a 6 speed for a test drive,there will be know going back to the four speed.

unless you have to rebuild it due to stock cooler failure, then you'd wish you'd saved the money and bought the 4 speed. Some rebuilds including radiators etc have cost up to 9 grand. No way of bypassing the factory cooler in the ZF.

Yes, i've owned one, no it didn't break.

If money is no factor, go for the ZF (BF range)
If it is, go for a BA

No way in hell id buy a 4sp over a ZF EVER. That said i wont buy another auto.

Well this thread is right up my area!!!

I love Tickford and have always been a little obsessed with the E series 302's... So I got myself one.... Then twin turbo's it! Now I have a Twin Turbo XR8...... Truly, that IMO is the be all and end all!!!

Game. Set. Match..
