On bling, it's a fact of life that it will attract the punter, that's exactly why manufacturers throw the 'reverse osmosis' stuff in, it's exactly why people buy upper spec models etc so I don't see why belittling it because 'Ford don't have it' is valid. If your totally agnostic and your in the market for a widget, both similar priced but brand A has an extra feature that you like, then it will become part of the buying decision, it's up to brand B to build in attractions to compete. They've done well with their value story, Ford is going to have to come to the table with things like panoramic roof and Stop/Start on Ecoboost to leapfrog this.

Would I be wrong in saying that the front of the GTS looks a little too busy?
Is barra240t trying to hint that a lot of the styling in the Fusion is in the new Falcon...perhaps slightly different proportions? |

I gather from this rather bold move from holden they intend to " make the lost revenue " up, in the long run when they stop making the cars in 2016, but have to continue supplying parts for the next 10-15 years. And we all know how much a part cost to replace.....

This is why I've said in the past that Holden is arguably taking a greater risk with more
expansive investment in VF Commodore than Ford appears to be taking with the 2014 Falcon. Mind you, just because Ford may seem to be making less noise about improvements doesn't mean that Falcon's updates won't be any less comprehensive than VF, I have a feeling that Ford will get massive bang for bucks this time round... |

It will be interesting to see whats in the Calais ? FORD is going to have come out fighting or dealers are going to have a few quiet months..Will some close ?? FH is needed now ,or FG MK 3... not 18 months time.....

I cant be bothered posting them in here I think the Evoke has raised the bar pretty high in terms of standard kit on the povo pack so to speak off. the interior of the evoke looks pretty bloody impressive too. |
