You didn't. I assumed that's what you were referring to as my 15yr old could take off in a ute in second without spinning the wheels.
I used to drive 100's of new Cab chassis from Toyota dealerships to get trays fitted. Hilux's, 75/78 series Cruisers These are way lighter than an empty ute. I never had any issues, even in the wet, unless I wanted too. |

i love it when some peanut pulls stats out of their bum trying to justify something...
Assistant Commissioner Robert Hill said at the time that 15 deaths and 300 injuries could be prevented each year if drivers cut their average speed by 1km/h. |

Just read Sgt Wilks open letter. This could be the best thing that's happened to motorists in a long long time!
It seems the pollies have pushed their revenue raising policies too far. They have undermined the integrity of the police by using them to intimidate and harass normally law abiding people to raise money for their coffers and the police are getting their back up and going public. THIS BLOKE IS A LEGEND! I know what sanctions he could face by going public! It is pretty much prohibited in any of the emergency services and they have the power to tell him he doesn't have a job anymore and are very likely to use that power. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen!! I wonder if the media will run with the letter in its unedited form and report on it correctly. I doubt it very much because it is all true and doesn't back up the crap they feed the public on a daily basis. Asst Commisioner Robert Hills got plenty of air time for the drivel he was spouting but I think that all Seargent Wilks will get is damnation and the boot! There should be a lot more truth and a lot less spin from our authorities after all, THEY WORK FOR US!
