Brian Wolfe was head global engine engineering before retiring, so the 7.3 is his baby.

Rouch has apparently cancelled development of the S/C kit for the 7.3.

Honestly it has powdered metal rods(ford call em forged not the same as aftermarket forgings) I don’t think it’ll take a supercharger longterm

does the coyote have powdered metal rods?? this type of forging is known to be cost saving and not a high horsepower part
one tuner has already heard "rumours" from inside the industry that it is throwing rods in a companies development with boost what hp?? what boost??? who knows wait and see what comes out i guess. you should see some of the people on "the net" making comments saying they are going to make 1500hp charged ect ect i'll eat my words if I'm wrong but its pretty funny

Do you mean sintered metal? When the earlier Modulars ran them the problems were more evident under tension stress rather than compression from boost etc.

Livernois tune with amazing dyno results https://youtu.be/UUjbkjgxGb0
Keep in mind the Octane ratings mentioned 87 (R+M)/2 = 91 RON 93 (R+M)/2 = 97 RON |

They only started landing at the dealerships about 3 months ago. I don’t know if the importers have even got their hands on any 2020 models yet. They get a couple and offer it for $14k less and see how it does.

It didn’t go into production till recently. It would take time to get it complianced if someone wanted to sell them here.

I have suspicion on one business who I suspect is currently working on compliance for 2020 superduty.
Assuming it's going to be diesel though. |

VERY impressive!!!!!!!!!!.
Love the part about bore size formula to match Stoichometric ratio. And still pushrod suprisingly but he's right it makes the donk more compact to fit into more models overall and also allows for more air flow around the donk for cooling. Well done Ford U.S. |
