Be interesting to see how it would drive with a Borgwarner K03/K04 that's factory fitment on cars like the Fiesta ST/Ecoboost Falcon etc. I'd imagine it would crack close to the 200KW mark at the engine, in a car that weighs sub 1200kg and has an AWD system without being a laggy POS to drive. It was a well known issue with the original mazda GTX/GTR and it was never fixed as far as I know because mazda dropped out of rallying.
Someone fixed the issue with doing a 'project binky' ie fitting a toyota gt four drive train. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgcnEocwFNU |

Thats 4th gear. After 3k all the V8 see's is taillights. an extra 100Nm of torque will do that.

I imagine the Miami Falcons would feel nicer to wheel about on the streets, there's no denying that low down torque on tap from that positive displacement supercharger. |

It's the mild tune they gave from factory. Remember reading that the throttle on the 335s only open a max of 50%.

Positive displacement superchargers are less efficient than turbos, the only benefit is it's giving you 8-10 PSI down low, that sub 3000 RPM point on the dyno chart until the turbo starts moving more air where the power curves diverge at a guess. I'm just speculating, someone with experience should probably explain what we're seeing. |

Maybe. But the % of throttle is really limited in the lower gears. Thats why they feel sluggish stock. Tune fixes all the restrictions
