i think 3/4-1 tank got me too and from bathurst (with a lot of driving round the town) in the eb... auto 5.0 though.
i got 700kays in my XD and it still had a bit left. (thats including 1 hour of city/driving round a country town)

WE went to Adelaide at Christmas ,travelled over 6,000k's and averaged 10L/100kms.
I was and still am pretty happy with the XRs fuel consumption, I would gladly swap some economy for "MORE POWER" ...............LOL

Hi there i finally took my ute for a country run.
In the city i average 17.8l per 100k On the country run it dropped to 11.8 per 100k thank god for that as i am about to pilot it down to melbourne

My AUIII Fairmont's trip computer has sat on 11.9/100k's for the last 3 months, with an average speed of 52kph.

AU2 LTD 5ltr computer says 11.4/100klm average last 6,000klms equal city / freeway
BAXR8 ute (6 speed) 16.9/100klm since new 1,000klms running in equal city / freeway - hope the ute settles down - it sounds so sweet I still havn't turned the radio on! |

use to get about 650kms in the xf 6cyl carby, the ef was about the same, but the misses daewoo does nearly 1000kms on the highway, but it takes the daewoo twice as long to get there/and the ride is always boring.not much fun in a daewoo.

about 9lt/100km at the moment and thats with foot down (no fun in steady acceleration). Only do about 15-20kms a day most days. Ill do about 50-70kms at least 2 days of the week when i go to school on the other side of town.
I can go down the coast from here (about 170kms) on just under 1/4 of a tank of petrol so its great on the highway. Gotta love 4cyls :P |

My xy uses about 25L/100km around town driving quite sedately and with 4.11 diff gears, it's even worse on the highway :(

Highway 10-12 L/100 cruise
City 15-17 L/100 "spirited driving" The highway is better than my old stock AU 6 auto fairmont. Go figure? Good to see all that extra fuel nets you about 10 rwhp Bish :nutsycuck

I just drove into the city and back out for a job interview, covered 65kms and used about 7 litres of fuel, and yes, that was in the XF. Pretty happy with that. Works out to about 10l/100kms, not bad at all for an old 3 speed auto carbied 4.1L 6

BA XT I6 Auto. (SR) 65,000 on clock,
Drinks between 11.2-11.9 litres/100Km. I put about 60 litres (std ULP these days) in and that gives me 500km-ish. I do about 700-800Km a week, combination city traffic, freeway (read FAST!), and hilly mountains, and I got very heavy right boot at times. |

BA XR6 Ute Manual
15.7 and 16.2 in the city I didn't check the only highway run its done yet. But haveing said that, its only about 2 months old, and she's only done a little over 1000kms.

I get about 100-120km per 60 litres just wondering if anyone has heard of worse its a highly modified motor but i dont know if it should be so bad?

I get between 13-14litres per 100ks city and between 9-10 for highway in my BA Fairmont Ghia v8.

EF II XR8 manual, 12L/100k's half city, half country. 15 or so city.
ZK Fairlane 351, 21L/100k's last tank, thankfully on gas.

AUII XLS EGAS Ute (4-speed auto)
City/Metro courier work (heavy throttle) 450km/75L = 16.6L/100km Metro/Highway (haven't done a long distance run yet) 650/75L = 11.53L/100km Car needs a service and will be putting new leads in as well ... so should be getting a bit better soon.

In the XF i get around 100kms/10litres on the highway (pretty impressive) but it really sucks around town. I'd say it would have to be atleast 100kms/15litres. The XY on the other hand. We worked out on the highway with 4.11's sittin on around 90k's it got about 14mile/gallon. Does anybody know what that is in km's to litres?

bout 18l/100km... ish. Depends if thats a US gallon (3.78 litres) or a UK gallon (4.54 litres)
