I love those things, especially the updated body style from the early 00s, the amount of vacuum lines under the bonnet is scary though.

Speaking of 'Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod' - couple years ago there was a Chaika M14 for sale here in Australia in mint condition:

Franco interesting reading about The Century, they used wool as the Upholstery because it was quieter for entering and exiting.

Looks like the 'GAZ-24-34' is the variation we want - it's the KGB pursuit version of the GAZ-24.

I'd chuck a set of 16" 'interceptors' on it and have a KGB BT1

There's a lot of interesting details about that particular car and some of the decisions they made, the 1GZ-FE V12 is the only 12 cylinder engine Toyota has made and it shares a lot of similarities with the 'JZ' family of engines.

Maybe a horizontally striped polo shirt he could tuck into his shorts just to be on brand, then white 'new balance' runners when he wants to be fancy instead of the socks and thongs, thats how I'd dress if I had a Toyota Century

Though being serious those things are real nice cars, wouldn't mind one of those.

The Russian limo looks like a Mercedes 450 SEL rip off. Especially the steering wheel, head rests, tail lights and C pillars. The front looks like a Lincoln Continental. Actually the tail lights look like a 230E from the 80s.

Saw this really well preserved gemini and asked the owner if I could take a pic. The guy was really keen to let me know it was for sale and it was a one owner. I was too scared to ask how much as I imagine he is motivated by the inflated market prices getting around

was a slow day and this pair was just down the street, so I figured why not. Someone likes their nissan bluebirds.

Saw what I think was an early 70s Jeep J4000 pickup with a tray back. it looked to be a working vehicle - maybe a painter.

I've heard there are Tradies operating on club regos these days to avoid charges

Thats a 90s model, carby 2L thing. To be fair, i think it was 2004 when the l300 went fuel injected with the equally uninspiring 2.4L. The updated model was pretty much different headlights. The rest was the same. So nothing towards safety or driver comfort. But 100% maximising usable space. I do love them, but would never drive one for a living again.
