I have never understood why car companies don't offer different panels in different materials that are easily interchanged. An easy way to make additional profit and keep everyone happy. You could even change after a year or so to something else.
I know there are after market kits for some cars, but if they patented some kind of click in / connector for it, they could keep it as a genuine part. In just going by the the responses in this thread people are deeply divided as to what looks good, which is fair enough. When you buy a mobile phone the 1st thing you do is buy a custom cover for it to suit your style / taste. The car interior could be the same, offer a standard trim which will appeal to a large percentage but then offer customisation panels in every colour / metal / wood under the sun.

I like the look of my FG interior, but it is very cheaply done in a few areas. Everything looks well put together, but the quality of materials is poor and everything is hollow and creaky. It's disappointing, but you don't buy a Falcon if you expect premium interior quality

My 2011 build F6 hasnt suffered the glovebox door warp or fusebox lid fitment issue but my old 2008 build G6Eturbo sure did. That thing had the glovebox door replaced under warrenty twice in 9 months!

Yeah it was. The fg sedan (10) and the fg2 ute (12) don't have that issue.

They all have the overboost function, and FPV themselves admitted that torque is over 600nm during overboost.
Based on standard vehicle dyno readings 375kw sounds about right. |

Just remember too that Ford have a history of underquoting peak horsepower figures too. If you honestly believe the BF F6 made less power than the GT, then I have a bridge in Sydney to sell you.........

To my knowledge they weren't released by Ford, just artist impressions like what Motor and Wheels have on their front covers these days to sell magazines.

Besides the sneak peak last year, nothing official has been released (image wise).

This might not be official, but I think that this is the closest to what it's going to end up looking like.

Interesting they also claim (or just wildly assume) the XR8 will also inherit the GT Brake (Brembo) Pkg. I hope this is correct - if it is priced at a XR8 / SS-V Commondoor Price point (below the GS). |

That topgear xr8 has the FPV side skirts, I thought the mules had the standard fg skirts from the spy shots.

Be nice if they had dual vvt so you tune in a lumpy idle like the mustangs but I know that would never happen.

As much as I hate to admit it, the red team also have Brembos Standard on the front of the SS-V Redline. Like it or not we live in a commercial / competitive world. http://kmi.ford.com.au/EmailImages/2...GoFurther2.htm Last edited by stevefreestyle; 30-01-2014 at 08:56 AM. |

I hoping at the very least the Brembos are an option. Much better to be standard considering this the last ever Falcon model.
