thanks for the comments guys glad you like her .
now to fill in some details
left the factory as 6 cyl t-bar auto red pepper falcon 500 ...
your basic run of the mill shopping trolly, the only thing different is i believe it had a continental vinal roof similar to pinkbits coupe . I say that only by all the rust holes i had to fill from the trim trips along the side & across the roof.
she now sports a orange pearl paint job
399 cube cleavo stroker running straight lpg through a twin gra setup
ford toploader gearbox
9" 3.5 lsd xb gt dics brake rear end
have only just got her fully rego'd after a 15 year full rebuild

Geez!!! Gotta love a black coupe.
Bugger going back to original, I'd keep it black.
What was the original colour?
Also whats the plans for the blue coupe motor wise, Full on Drag or a nice cruiser.
Are those wheels are supposed to be left and right facing.

Cheers Jack

Well it finally stopped raining up here on the mountain so gave the coupe a much needed wash & got round to taking some decent pics of the engine bay.
So here you all go hope you enjoy.
a before shot

And more importantly the after shots

& for those that want to know 399 stroker on straight gas

its original colour is appollo blue with silver highlights which is a pretty cool colour but its been a hard descission to peel of the black considering its in bloody good nick prolly the reason i havn't started to strip her .the blue/green candy coupe is getting a efi motor for cruising its just about ready to be put back together .the wheels are called directionals and there are not many in the country ,funny enough we know 3 coupes in our area with them ...doc

Default XC Coupe in Derbyshire UK

Well the XC Coupe is now registered for the summer and we took her out for the first run. It is spring over here now and this weekend has been absolutely beautiful.
So here she is out for a run in Derbyshire.

Wayne

Thanks mate. I toyed with the idea of replacing the front tyres with 225's opposed to the 245's and lowering it 1½" but I will be leaving it just the way it is.

Thanks George. Your right mate the only problem is piloting this thing around the Derbyshire country lanes. They are narrow compared to the roads back home and not real smooth either. I'm looking forward to May when I get the GXL out.

Thanks mate. I don't think I could ever let this one go. It's near perfect.
Just sold the XA Coupe it's gone to Chester. The bloke who now has it is more than happy with it. Sad to see it go in a way but hey I don't need three.

Thanks Col. Certainly does. I wish I had a pound for every time someone spoke to me yesterday about Eric Banna and Love the Beast. They couldn't believe that they had just been watching it and then to see an Aussie Coupe in the flesh.

Here are some pics of the XA on it's way the Chester.

Wayne
