Bowdens snow foams up great. No problem there. It's just after rinsing there is very little difference. NV used in the same conditions actually had a noticeable effect after rinsing.

This will vary for everyone depending on how dirty your cars are. If mainly just dust or very lightly soiled then bowdens would probably work ok.

Hey DFB, just going back to this topic, will the snow+ remove ceramic coating? I'm guessing no. Waxit says its great to use as a snow foam due to it being slightly stronger than NV snow. They have a good deal on at the moment to buy a bottle of each. The Territory doesn't really have any paint treatment. I understand it can remove spray on finishes but the wet dreams is super easy to apply at the end of the wash.

NV Snow+ is only mildly alkaline at 8.1 so should be fine with a ceramic coating.

I was about to point out the foam cannons usually supplied or optional with most pressure washers are mostly useless. However, the Gerni foam cannon you have linked looks to be much better than what the likes of Karcher offer, looking like it produces nicely thick foam.

I can do that, meant to be wet here in Adelaide for a couple of day but when it clears the Ranger will be due a wash so i'll take some snaps and put them up.

I also have the Gernie Super Foam Sprayer which I purchased a while ago now before all of the other options became available.
It is definitely better than the standard one they supply in some of the Gernie Kits.
I use Meguiars Gold Class in it and find it OK but I have nothing to compare it too having not used anything else. It is possibly smaller in volume so will only do 1 car.

Virtually useless, don't waste your time and money on it.

The "foam" they produce is hardly foam, rather a soapy water spray.

The Karcher ones are about $28 at Bunnings. I would spend a bit more on any of these -

Don’t bother. I have 2 of the Karcher foam cannons. I have the one that came with my K7 and the adjustable one from Bunnings. They are junk.
I bought the Bowdens own one and it’s totally different. It actually makes thick foam.

The Bowdens kit comes with the Karcher adapter.
The K7 Karcher is awesome. Their foam cannons not so much.

Hi mate,

Are those wheels a gloss or matte finish. If matte how do you keep them looking clean even with ceramic coating.

The wheels are matte black. I just wash them regularly with normal car wash soap. After they have been dried, I wipe them over with a quick detail spray (NV Boost).

I have a shopping cart at waxit with about $80 worth of stuff but unfortunately I'm going to have to pass on it. Bought a few hundred dollars worth of new cycling kit... Priorities are slightly different to some but I do cycle a lot and had to take advantage of the sales.

The game of life. A big juggling act for many.

I love detailing, but I hate cleaning polish pads! I normally soak pads in Bowden's Microfiber Wash, then rinse them under running water before throwing them in the washing machine.

This product teams with a Dirt Lock grit guard in a bucket, forcing water upwards into a pad to rinse polish residue from the pads.

After using powered tools for over 20 years now, I'm now starting to suffer from Paresthesia (pins and needles) in my hands. These Shine Supply Gloves anti-vibration gloves will come into use when polishing. For some reason, when using a hedge trimmer, I get the pins and needles the most, so they will be used for this task as well.
