Sorry to ask here but I don't think it warrants another thread, but I have two questions.
The first is does Ford happen to own a Buick at the proving grounds as I see a left hand drive one heading into Lara most mornings on my way to work, and second today I saw a very heavily camouflaged largish sedan heading out of Lara into Geelong, would that be either the new Taurus or Mondeo...? I had a play with the build your own Falcon Ute just before I read this thread, was surprised to see an FGII XR6 Ute with Luxury Pack comes in at $44,000 as opposed to the FG X with comes in at $40,000. Pretty decent price cut for a new model...! |

Most ZFs are rebuilt these days anyway even if you get one under warranty. Reconditioned.

you would think the XR6T must be standard with leather, otherwise not much price increase to a G6ET with all the fruit for and extra grand

Well, sadly, without the G6E EcoLPi option, I wont be upgrading to a FG X. There goes that plan.

If you go build one on the Ford website leather is apart of the luxury pack. Mind you the lux pack is cheaper with FGX.

Spotted a fgx xr8 on sydney road a few days ago, looked really nice in burgundy color and this thing definitely had brembo brakes on it, I havent looked through this thread for awhile so not sure if this is news or not. Sounded awesome and the the new headlights looked killer even with a car bra covering part of it. I took pics but struggling to upload them from my phone will have to try later on the pc.

I agree the FG is better looks-wise than the FG II and FGX though. |

I'd say BF GT or GT-F for the pinnacle of exterior styling and GT-F or FGX for the pinnacle of interior styling.

Walk up to one after a long day at work or first thing in the morning, its looks AMAZING! Its so much better in the flesh than any 2D picture. I feel the FG X will be exactly the same! Pictures just dont tell the full story. You miss an entire dimension!

"Prices and specifications for the XR8 sedan will be released along with fuel economy figures in early October.
There are only a handful of options, such as $385 for metallic paint, $250 for a matching spare alloy wheel and $550 for a tow pack." Source: http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/2...25-10m5kh.html |

FGX XR6 Turbo is an absolute performance bargain starting at $42,990.

I suppose thats to show which side of the fuel door to press to open.
I was looking at a nitro 2010 XR6 yesterday parked next to me, and noticed the fuel door was badly mismatched, sticking out on the forward side, not so much on the rear side. Wondered why since mine is perfect, then thought maybe someone was trying to pull it open on the forward side. So a dimple should show the less educated that they need to press there to open. |

There was sone discussion about the orange indicator on the FG-X...found out a possible reason...
Its right from the mondeo parts bin! Likely to assume that the chrome 'vent' that is on the higher spec cars is the same as the mondeo as well...
