Black hood lining, dark argent accents on the exterior, rake on the boot spoiler!.......did someone forget to tell the styling guys the last V8 was an XR8 Falcon and not a Falcon GT!

Yep. Still in shock sync2 was put in the falcon. Sounds awesome from all reports.
All the interior bashing that went on and the same as FG remarks all u can do is laugh. Sync2, new leather, roof lining, spears n colors. FGX interior more than ticks the boxes for this ford fan. Has the drivers seat height changed at all? I'm 6ft an never had a real issue with my FG but man every wheels/motor review I ever red about the FG ****ed n moaned about that seat hieght. Pretty sure holden pays the bills for them two lol |

Looking forward to this car, regardless of what flak it's copping. Really looking forward to the Mustang though. As a world car, and a obsessive modifier myself, that's going to tick a lot of boxes for me. Love my Falcons though and pretty upset they are no more...

Same exterior styling as an xr6. Looks like an XR8 to me and there's nothing wrong with that because that's what it is!

x2 they look stupid, same with the orange indicators on the XR6T, which gets grey mirror caps like the XR8 but still stuck with the orange indicator

It wouldn't be that hard to change the mirror caps - either same colour (if carry-over colour from FG/FG2) or repaint old set. In both cases, from the wreckers.
Then you have the 'originals' in a drawer/cupboard for what will be a highly collectible vehicle, especially if in possession of the 100% original components. That's what i'd do anyway........

The more I'm reading about the new Mustang the more I reckon Fords volume anticipation of XR8 may be on the money. That's not a negative against XR8 just sounds like the new Stang may have the goods and price tag to get the swayers to hold out. I'd be looking hard at G6E (don't know how to red up that E!) as a volume seller....looks the package and damn good value.

Yep, almost the same differences in ba bf and fg xr6 and 8. The main difference is actually the exhaust. It's an XR8, ford even badged it as one.

The pricing is all guess work, the last Mustang we saw was around 70K and that had a far lower AUD than now and was locally converted.
I'll be surprised and disappointed if it does end up getting released that high as it will mean it will be out of the reach of a lot of performance Ford buyers. |

[QUOTE=Bossxr8;5222245]I love the freakin clowns who haven't even seen it in the metal yet who are bagging it. See it in the metal and then comment.
^^^ This imo is shoving your opinion down someones throat. I am not keen on the car. Don't like the rear or the front cnr shots that I've seen. I have not seen it in the flesh yet as it hasn't been released & haven't seen any on the road in Adelaide. May or may NOT look better in real life. It would need to... |
