Why is it New Zealand is allowed to have a pre-match haka but other nations have to watch them? I agree with the Irish fans. Why do we have to watch the haka? If I was on the opposing team I'd turn my back on them while they did their antics.

Why is it on my Panasonic Viera TV I can never find where to add and remove channels from my favourites list? I scroll through the menu options and try to use logic to find what I am looking for. But the idiots who designed the TV hide this option in a submenu of 'Digital TV Tuning Menu'! FFS the TV stations are already tuned! I don't need to tune the TV to add and remove changes from my favourites list.
/end rant

Why is it that the toothbrush style moustache I've grown for Movember gets me called Adolf Hitler instead of Charlie Chaplin?

Why is it that some people take advantage of and make fun of a persons nature behind their back?
Is it just human nature? Jealousy? Or do some people just deserve it?

I read once a credible enough theory that such behaviours were a manifestation of mild sociopathy. The instigator assumes that similar misdeeds are or will be perpetrated against them, and sees nothing wrong in preemptively “levelling the score” against a generalised (in their mind) group of people.

People trying to boost their waning ego or covering up their own insecurities and faults. I work on the principle of, if you can't say it to someones face don't say it at all.

Why is it that several phone apps that are essentially portals for their main websites take up so much bloody space??
ANZ - 100mb Carsales - 132mb CBA - 104mb Domain - 221mb Dominos - 98mb Ebay - 133mb Facebook - 620mb!!!! Gmail - 385mb (probably includes inbox attachments?) Gumtree - 101mb IMDB - 126mb KFC - 186mb Messenger - 373mb (similar situation to Gmail?) Maccas - 120mb Realestate - 215mb Uber - 193mb Waze - 406mb (offline maps??) Youtube - 460mb Some of the above figures are ridiculous - I get some of those apps store a ton of data on your phone for faster loading but those that just act as an interface shouldn't need to be so big!

Why is it work now give me approval to approve quotes from wholesalers for parts yet wont let me see prices? I thought the whole point was best price for + or - the most suitable gear. So im going to get yelled at for unknowingly spending too much on gear for quoted works where again i dont get to see the costs.

Why is it that we are discussing Black Friday in Australia? This is an America phenomenon which occurs the day after Thanksgiving.

Because Australians deserve to have their own identity which differentiates them from other English speaking nations.

Australia is a mix of many different cultures. It’s a pre Christmas sale nothing more. If you don’t like it don’t take advantage and of it. As someone who has lived in New York and participated in a few thanksgiving days I believe it’s something we should embrace. Family and friends together with no religious overtones and just reflecting on the best of what happened the preceding year. |

Why is it that some people can’t wait for you to finish what you’re saying, they attempt to finish your sentence by talking over the top of you and guessing what it is you’re about to say, most of the time incorrectly
Impatient? Keen? Maybe, I’m training someone at work and this is happening, I’ve stated “just let me finish first” but to no avail... I can’t punch them as it would be deemed inappropriate.

1, start talking over them...about anything...just yabba yabba on n on, they ask why? dont even let them finish just keep doing it. At some stage the intelligence might kick in. 2 complete opposite, if they interrupt you just shut up, dont say a word, then when they ask the 3rd time cut them off as per point 1 I know these both work

In my opinion at least!

Why is it I cannot find a good replacement battery for my Samsung Galaxy S5? I purchased the first replacement battery from Battery World which I thought was a reputable company. This new battery didn't hold any more charge than the old original battery which was supplied with the phone. Today I received another battery which I purchased on the internet (everybody raves about shopping online but all I find is poo products). The phone is on standby and I see the battery charge disappearing with 15% gone in just the first hour.
The mobile phone industry is deliberately geared to force people to continually purchase new phones.

What I want to know is how is it suddenly a “thing”? Last year there was no Black Friday, this year every shop,tv,radio, internet was advertising it, every shopping centre was packed to the rafters, people I know were finishing work early just to get to the shops so they don’t “miss out”, like WTF??

At certain roundabouts why is it when people turn left from the left lane at the roundabout they indicate left but when they turn left from the right lane they NEVER indicate left.
That's the main time you should indicate since you can go any direction from the right lane. |
