Yeah white looks good but don't think it's enough too turn me. Black looks tough! Plus my pers plates are designed for black. White XR8 will look very clean though.

The white XR8 looks crisp, like it...would love to see something done with the bonnet, stripe and or decals, maybe something to break it up a little. Possibly something like the FG1 GT bonnet decal.

Was reading a media release with details as to which models get which suspension and transmission

The falcon gets g6 suspension and the falcon xr6 and ecoboost all get the ecoboost transmission

The R-Spec just worked visually, was on my wish list for a while. All colours bar red on black are spot on. Never been a real red car man but I would defo own a black on red R-Spec!

I'm not a fgx fan at all, it's just doesn't do it for me, but that white xr 8 is a real looker.

Trying to decide between white & kinetic.
My XR6 is white & my daily drive &
with a paint correction,polish & a good sealer
(not wax) it looks great all the time even a
week after washing it.
If the XR8 was going to be my daily driver
then white for sure but because its going
to be a weekender I am leaning towards
kinetic. I think I still need to see both colours
in person before I decide

Same reason I'm going black it will spend most of its life under a car cover not picking up veges from the shop gettin trolley bashed!

I'm not a real blue man personally but I reckon that blue will be impressive in the flesh. Bit like the BA blue forget the name, blueprint??..That color sparkled on a new BA..

I'm somewhat envious of you guys who have work cars, or simply a second (or more) family cars. We had a work car for year or two not long ago and it was great not worrying about fuel or who I parked next to.

Unfortunately, any FGX XR8 (or SV8/ISF/SSV/etc.) I bought would be the daily driver, would be left in supermarket carparks while the shopping is done fortnightly and would be parked 5 times a week at a university (where I work), surrounded by yahoo p-platers.

My current BFII cops a bit of a flogging by circumstance and the environment :( I've learnt a coping mechanism, which is merely that life is too short to worry too much about your one and only car. Be a different story if it were my Sunday driver though!

Isn't it amazing that a couple of photos taken by a worker at the factory has more people sold than anything else we have seen so far.

Really highlights opinion. I think it's an average angle just good to see a white one..My 2 favs gotta be the blue 8 on the track into a corner windows down and black 8 at bathurst low front shot.

I think I would go Kinetic after seeing one in the flesh. It just works so well.

I don't know if it is just the white or not, or even the fact some wires/parts are yet to be installed but the engine setup there looks so much neater than I have seen before in a Falcon.

Who wants to have the first Bi-Xenon retrofit done?

Wish they had of been able to squeeze HIDs in the budget.

Looks to be missin the pod, airbox, induction, plastic cover that covers that massive gap lol
I would say its not complete, they don't get any newer than that haha!!

It looks bloody clean and smart on the XR8 pictures posted. Personally not a fan of all the hockey stick stripes from the FPV stables. I'd just get the rims blacked out and a dark as you dare tint and it will look mint. If I dealt drugs than I would get the interior whited out too haha.

Header tank doesn't even look bolted.. Plus coolant usually green. Mighta changed or it might be a testing fluid case there leaks or somethin.

Nah that's a Mondeo in the ad. That's what we're being groomed for with the FGX look.

Coolant changed to orange around 2 years ago. Some s/c V8's had noisy water pumps around that time too.

Best to check out the 5.0 S/C forum but you will see some red on black R-Specs there! (LOL!)
