What you think is the next big thing that’s going to sky rocket you think? I’m keen to jump on the wagon and reclaim some big money that I wasted like a massive idiot last year for stupid things

I get up half an hour early every morning, have a coffee, and check my investments and check what's happened in the past 24 hrs. I might buy or sell something. It's a bit of a hobby. Gaming tokens are looking good. You need to have a plan and an exit strategy, and do not invest any money that you can not afford to never see again. If all my Crypto goes to zero today my life will not change one bit, but if it meets my targets I will be taking a nice overseas holiday. People saying stay away from MEME coins, gaming coins etc are playing safe, but meme coins etc is where the returns are, made several 1000% plus returns on shit coins, but then I would not put my house on them even though a few times I have wished I had.

Not specifically related to trading but I watched a doco on Netflix called Bitconned and quite unbelievable how they scammed so much money and even a twist at the end. Nothing to do with Bitcoin but crypto.

We have money in a startup. Unfortunately it’s formatted as a loan at market rates, not equity - this is the shame as company has gone from zero to a valuation between $7-10M by EOFY. Just about on par with crypto for those with a stake in it. My point is there are other things that can do well, but you can’t buy in at super low stakes or get out so easily.

It's dipping (or crashing?), I don't care, I hope bitcoin goes as low as possible so I can stock up.

This will go down like a lead balloon but I'm never going to stop calling out scams. Pretty much all crypto are scams and *will* take all your money at some point. Or they have good intentions but can easily fall victim to their own success. Except for bitcoin, you can see its growth over time, there is no central control to decide to take all your money and escape to some exotic location. Government can never shut it down and it has reached a level of security where it is practically impossible to carry out any meaningful attack on it. It has already survived some pretty extreme tests of its durability, see the "Blocksize Wars" of 2017 as one example, and see all the misinformation being reported over the years, e.g. that it uses an olympic pool's worth of water per transaction (think about who is paying for those fake media campaigns). Dabble in scams and you're sending money to low-life's or naïve operators.
Put money into bitcoin, secure it on your own storage hardware, build a node to validate it, wait 5 years and laugh at all the other failed 'projects' whilst your holdings remain safe and secure, and outpace inflation in value. |

In other news, Bitcoin is trending down. The German government is releasing confiscated coins and the old Mt Gox exchange is distributing coins that have been frozen for nearly a decade. https://cointelegraph.com/news/germa...-arkham-wallet https://www.coindesk.com/markets/202...ments-in-july/

Watching Bitcoin every day and abusing it for not tanking yet.
The tech venture isn’t flying high as hoped, but hasn’t crashed either. I’m neutral in sentiment about it presently - gut feeling is there are engaged parties trying to wear them down; people who are hoping to run them out of working capital and force a sale of the entity. We would near double our stake to try and push it through if needed, but that’s absolutely our sane limit (and the entirety of my dental self fund). |

That's me, I wish it would just tank so I can stock up.

Lots of value wiped from the Japanese Stock exchange. I predict this could turn into something bigger than we expect.

I indulged in a little (pointless?) hindsight and compared the price of Bitcoin when I bought Povo Ute, to its current level. About 600% gain.
Had I bought BTC and just hired a ute or used one of my other cars as required, it would have been a smarter move. |

Anybody seen the 'Raygun' Crypto available at the moment for purchase?

I’m still waiting (vicariously?) for the crash… Perhaps it will come post-US Election.
