I will take the TS50 out to see how she goes. I tried to find some info on the track layout. Anyone got a pic or link?

Hi All,

Now that my care has been successfully tuned by Nathan at Herrods (thanks Nathan the car is now unbeleavable to drive) I have sent in my deposit and look foward to a great day.

Buy the way to all those wanna be sixes :MrT_anim:

I now have a full 450rwhp and 960nm of torque at my disposal

Wether or not I will be able to use it remains to be seen but it will be fun trying.

Jeff

Sorry about this Rob, sometimes it is hard to sort the wheat from the chaff and I didn't see this. Yep one entry and two drivers is ok no worries.

Cheers,

ken

Can not wait till the big day.
Some questions for those who have been before.
What do I have to bring with me. (besides my car that is.)
What tyre pressures are recommended?
What groups or classes are there going to be. Hope there is a vegie class for us new at this game. Will there be a factory/stock group?
Does anyone know how long it takes to get there from Gold Coast?

Cheers.

Go the 6's ing_sm

There are 3 levels if I remember correctly

Tame at heart - for the ones who don't want to push too hard.

Intermediate - for the ones that want to push it a bit and see how they go.

and lastly

Devil may Care (I named this one myself because I can't remember the official name) - this is for the wild childs who want to fang it hard and see what their cars are made of.

Tyre Pressures - I don't remember is it 45-50 PSI or something *** waits to be corrected. _

I think it is important to remember to bring - food, water and anything else you will want to nibble on for lunch etc because there is no way to get food once there... also chairs etc are a good idea.

You will need a helmet, long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes.

A pen is handy - for the indemnity forms.

Change - because there is bound to be a raffle of some description floating around.

A brown paper bag is also a good idea for 6 owners because you can put your pride and ego in it and leave it by the front gates to pick up on your way home :evil_laug

Cheers, Tori

I shall try and answer your questions, but dont take as gospel.
1. Long pants,long sleeved shirt,enclosed shoes,helmet.
2. for a 6 approx 40psi,we do stop just before the track for fuel and tyre inflation...did last time so guess will be same again.
3. classes are ..tame at heart...for those who just want to go on track...intermediate as such for those who want to have a go but car/driver is not in the big league....and basicly full on die hard /race class for those with car and balls big enough to really get into it.No factory or stock classes...just good ol' 6 or 8.
4.club email states approx 1 1/2 hrs from start point,so from goldie prob 45min to start point then another 1 1/2hrs.
is going to be a blast again...cant wait.

Thanks for replies.
Glad you said long sleeves & pants. Don't even know if I own any, never wear em on the Gold Coast. I probably would have turned up in shorts a tee.
I will probably meet you all on the road somewhere, no point driving up north to go south again. Sound like a tight arssse don't I. Yeah I know its all part of the fun, cruising....
Intermediate sounds like me. Will not be needing brown paper bag takes a lot more than defeat to bruise my pride & ego. That is if 6's were to loose of cause.
