How would you design a new post-apocalyptic society?

Oright.

If you join the defence force you get free beer for life and you can brew your own moonshine. But you can only get drunk on days that I say and when you're back at the barracks and officially off duty.

If you're still on duty or on call then you can't drink but you can still smoke tobacco. (Obviously you cant smoke when there are snipers around)

And when you retire you are given a 1/2 acre lot.

As with a lot of threads recently, this could have been a fun thread to participate in, however, the usual suspects have ruined it for everyone.
