I own 2 Landau's 1 of which I've had since 1983(the gold one) the other was bought about 6 years ago as a spare parts car and was driven as a daily driver for the first 3 & 1/2 years until I decided it was looking a bit tatty.
The gold 1 is an 11/74 build, tropic gold, brown vinyl roof I'm second owner.
The Brown 1 is 6/75 build, walnut glow, white vinyl but unknown number of previous owners. will post vin numbers if required.

Default Another new one - albiet I've owned it for years!

I thought I had mine on here, but nope!

Owned: 14 years, second owner.
Build: 11/75
Paint: V (Apollo Blue)
Roof: White
Trim: P4 (Parchment Leather)
Engine: T
Trans: B
Options: 72 (Stereo Cassette)
Matching no's.
Under full resto.

Got more details but they're in bub's room and he's sleeping so it's a no go zone!! (Thumb stuck on forehead by wife!)

EDIT:
1. Just noticed that 73Landau has posted Paint V for Wild Violet. Z is Wild Violet mate...

2. Paint V doesn't list in your specifications either Dave under the technical section.

10 points for picking my typo in my paint code. Yes it is Z.
It has annoyed me since I done it but was too late to edit when I realized.
Cheers Greg

Wow! Great looking Landau :
Looks to be in excellent condition.
Did you buy it like this or have you had to do the usual rust repairs and rebuild?
Do you have any pics of under the bonnet?

Thanks Muzz, I haven't got any shots of under the bonnet however that is the only part that has been resprayed which I done when changing the motor. The exterior is as I got it and probably about 15 years old. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing as there is no obvious rust, other than a slight bit in the usual rear window area. The chrome trims around the wheel arches were missing when I got it as was the chrome trim olong the door sills. I call it a 20 yard car, from 20 yards it looks pretty good, but don't get too close as it has a few scratches and bumps.

Hi joede,
Nice Landau. That's the Yellow Glow Landau that was on Ebay a while ago isn't it?
Do you mind if I ask how much you got it for?
What's it like for rust?

Hi Muzz, Car is pretty good rust wise, but will need minor back window and a few spots around tailights as per ad pics (as per usual). inside boot, guards & rear quarters, plenum, sills floors etc all pretty amazing! Interior pretty amazing also- back seat hardly used, headlining unmarked, orig. carpet very good nick, Everything (inc. clock, radio, a/c) works with exception of fuel guage. Very nice original car (that drives ace!) with some typical of older owner/father & son DIY-type paint/body repairs on dings & scrapes of v. average quality. As my mechanic said "its so good & original you wish he'd just left it alone" .
Price-wise, wasnt a car i was able to barter much on-Fact. Yellow Glo in good v. original shape with owner's books etc....
will post pics when i get car back from shop- can't wait!
What did you pay for yours??

Hah Hah, Not wrong Cob! Would've been a brave (lairy?) choice in '73...Classic Aussie Hornbox!
Yellow Glo can look alot different at different times depending on the light, there's a heap of different pics of a very nice Yellow Glo XY on this site which illustrates this. When you see car in the flesh, esp. given black roof, its actually a shade or 2 darker/deeper than it looks in these particular pics, similar to GMH 'Chrome Yelow" but slightly lighter... Ace colour.
One more for ya- other pics in 'Show us yr coupe"

Smile Landau Registry

G'Day,

A very close friend of mine recently purchased a Landau.

It is a numbers matching and unmolested example.

Deep Ivy.
351 4V (yes 4V).
Leather trim (parchment or similar colour I think).

VIN JG70PS76812K

I will obtain engine code / trans code / trim code / paint code to confirm the above.

Comes with radio cassette option.

Original owner requested the following options ;

1. Dealer fitted XA GT rear boot spoiler.
2. Deletion of vinyl roof.

I was advised that not too many exist in Deep Ivy with 351 4V (was advised many came out in 2V).

I am twisting his arm to tell me what he paid for it but said it wasn't cheap !!

He has asked me to forward this information as he wants to remain discreet at this stage.

I will advise in due course on other codes (as soon as he advises me).

thanks.

geepee.
