after the chase realising i had a full glove box of golf balls

bought a corona

doing fishies on a dirt road 6 days after i got my car. i lost control and crashed into a fence, had to replace the bumper, indicator and exhaust

I must add something to my previous stupidity.... Few years ago I had a Getz rental car, we stuffed 5 people into it and went hooning. Donuts in reverse, going around roundabouts till I was too dizzy to keep driving, massive handbrakeys and rollbacks. Finally found some dirt roads, and did handbrakeys up and down it at high speed, nearly came unstuck in soft gravel, front left wheel dug in, Getz started skipping sideways, came SO close to rolling over, after we finally ground to a halt, everyone was silent. Drove very slowly home.

That was particularly stupid, as I could have injured not only myself and my passengers, but anyone near us... :gren:

Truth be told, we laugh about it a lot now, because it was ******* funny at the time, just lucky nobody got hurt.

EDIT: another stupid moment, big grass hills used to surround Highpoint shopping centre car park, me and a few of the boys got some tin, went flying down the hill on the metal. Had to stop yourself before the grass ended because you'd hit a car if you kept going. Great fun, till we decided to take a running jump onto the sled.......... I ended up on the bonnet of an old Meteor thing, no skin on my elbow, semi concious bleeding outta my eyebrow. Great fun...... :

When I was in Viet Nam I was told by my sarg to fill in a full latrine( a hole about 20ft deepx2ft wide)not wanting to spent time filling it in I dropped a grenade down the hole thinking it would collapse. It did'nt.It just blew straight back up the hole, depositing shlt and plss all over the camp..I really got into trouble for that..

I personally haven't done anything stupid enough for you guys to find amusing but my mate has...

My mate was driving his mum's brand new Camry Altise (i was in the passanger seat) and he was dragging my other mate who was driving his astra. It was a dark country road and my mate was warned to watch out for the sharp corner at the end of the road. This didn't deter him and he floored the accelerator eventually reaching 140 or so. All of a sudden he saw the corner (he is also shortsighted and wasn't wearing glasses). He was travelling so fast that he couldn't turn the corner so he slammed on he brakes and the car went flying off the road and got bogged in very soft sand (lucky there wasn't any trees or rocks in out path). My other mate in the astra had to tow the camry out! Lucky there wasn't any damage to the car otherwise my mates parents would have killed him...

Venemous, that reminds me of one,
Me and a mate had a few and decided to walk up this huge hill (mount major for the locals) and couldnt be bothered walking back down so my mate thought it would be fun to roll back down. so he did and spewed while rolling and i just thought to myself "what an idiot, i'll slide down" so i got a piece of corrugated iron and sat on it and pushed off, well, the ground in the middle of summer is mighty hard and after getting half way down and the front of the iron digging in, i was well tenderised by the time i got to the bottom...

Climbing over the roof of a moving car (80km/h-ish) while drunk. Picture climing out the passenger side front window and back in the drivers side back window.

That was about 10 years ago and STILL sends shivers down my spine thinking how lucky I was not to fall off. Stupid.

Selling cars?

I was a car salesman for 6 months. Never again, most horrible job I've ever done.

Been there done that, also hit a round about at 150kmh in my old EF once. Lights were out and the road was long and straight. Sitting on the limiter at 180 kmh I saw this keep left sign and stupidly thought "Keep left of what?" Take my foot off the gas and realise that it was a round about.

Couldn't stop, couldn't go round, so i thought right straight over the top then. Car was in the air for friggin ages. Was so lucky, we landed, tracked straight didn't break anything and i've been a ford man ever since
