only had KK once in Sydney. My custard donut tasted like it had bleach or a similar poison in it. Never tried it again. In W.A we have no KK that I know of, but the last remaining Puffin Fresh in Armadale, make the best donuts I have ever had.

There not bad but like some posters have already said a good bakery belts out a good donut generally.
Price wise....their not the only expensive ones around, just saw a 4cm cubed lamington at Brumbies for $3, they were tiny! |

Donut King charges $2 for a small iced one and $2.80 for a large iced.
Doughnuts not matter how you spell it must make money. KK went in to hard to quick with their stores. Who remembers people getting on planes out of Sydney with the boxes? Now that they are in 7/11 they'll be here for a while. Poor old Mr Donut. Is he still selling in Coles? That's what happens I guess when you aren't producing what the consumer wants.

I get my KK for free!
The smiling little Indians at the 711 down the road give them to me at midnight, as they have to throw them out then. Got 7 boxes one night! |
