That colour looks absolutely fantastic with the fleck in that last photo. Now I can't wait to see the car in the sun!

Similar to "Ego" off the new Falcons, which is what I want to paint a Lincoln one day. Awesome work.

Hi,
Just want to say I agree with Big Mike. The fleck in the paint looks absolutely fantastic.
Black is a great colour, but this is just beautiful.
As for trim, black is always a good option, especially with kids.
It would also look great with white leather seats and door trims with everything else black.
Anyway, I can't wait to see the paint finished and your car outside.
You must be very happy with the work so far.
Can't wait for the next update.

Hey big mike and muzz landau

Yeah im fully stoked with how the colours have come out, The black is a custom mix and the gray is a porsche colour, I cant wait to see it in the sun either!!!
Down the track when ive saved some coin i will go the whole hog and get the seats recovered and was thinking i may go for white,
Yeah i wasnt expecting anywhere near the job for the money im paying and then my painter informed me today that the car look rough as at the moment and will look better when he does the final buff and polish!!!
My jaw dropped cause i thought it was already done and now found that its gunna look even better!! WOOHOO:

Wash it with WATER, dry it with a microfibre towel, protect it with a detail spray. Do it all IN THE SHADE.

Avoid waterless wash, car washes with brushes, chamois', scratches, soaps or detergents, and letting anything air dry.

Make sure its "baked" in the sun for as long as you can, months if possible, before its first wash.

Judging by the paint she will be worthy of a Magazine feature

PS: In your first picture I can just glimpse one of the reasons you are breaking my heart and not going a White Interior!

mate.....thats all photo shopped paint.....lol (note extreme jealousy)
Farking brilliant......Black cars would be any beater/painters nightmare and this came up superb.
Reminds me of the XC Coupe (4MYLYN) which sadly was stolen and discovered in qld in bits and pieces.
Wish you the best on that, makes all us coupe owners proud of what beauty truly is...;P

Can you ask Santa to stop off at our place...I keep asking him for parts but I think he lost my address.

On a side note, I didnt know they found 4MYLYN in QLD in bits and pieces?? That was one gorgeous coupe. Must have been heartbreaking for the owner.

Your coupe is beautiful!! Keep the updates coming mate.
