LOL. As much as I dont mind a VLT, the stereo type that comes with N/A versions is bad enough!

Those wedding pics pretty much sum it up.

I dont understand the hype behind OPT20's or BT1's. Congrats, you know own a car that had the shizen beaten out of it everyday!

What hype behind OPT20s? I've never heard of anyone talking them up. Sure, the BT1s have a following, but not the Falcons.

There is no Hype around opt20 as it was plated on Police, Fire, Ambo's as well as the Taxi's which is why there is no hype, had the taxi never got it then there may have been a following.

I know in Ballarat at least that the police used to play a little game callled red bonnet with the BT1's. Basically involved whoever had the hottest bonnet at the end of shift didn't have to buy a round at the pub.

Yep, a Holden driver parking his urinemobile in a disabled spot... I guess all disabilities aren't obvious... but his choice of vehicle and colour would suggest it's not physical.

I don't see where I've dissed VL's....

Ive bagged out idiots who don't run a pressure relief valve
Ive had a go at the notion that some how a horrible coloured car that was once a bacon wrapper and has been flogged within an inch of its life is "cool"

but no dissing of VL's has been undertaken..

Too many people are stuck in the 70's on this forum man, they love their pushrods too much, don't take anything seriously im sure most of those BT1's would probably cain alot of the cars on this forum, but different people have different tastes, and some people live by the saying "it's my way or the highway" So they feel the need to act like ******* whenever something different is posted.

Don't even worry about it!

Well this is probably the longest lasting VL thread on the forum, it had to end with some troll I guess:

useNabuse mate I can see you're on here to defend the VL boys and I'm with you mate but please don't get this thread shut down.

All the good threads on here get shut down, and then we're left with "Are my Kays average??" threads!!

So if you have a point, make it but don't stress out or abuse people buddy!

Look im into both fords and holdens, but you have these members here in their clapped out sh|t boxes bagging basicly the quickest road cars in aus. I'd like to see them come up to a bt1 at a set of lights, then we'll talk.

Where? I've never seen those claims? Most owners of mock ups are happy to admit it, and most VL turbos I've seen haven't been BT1's. They're actually quite rare. If you look at some of the plates on the VLs in those pics you'll see some have come from interstate for the chance to show their BT1 off with a bunch of others.

Nobody here here ever denied Vl's being a quick car, most people were simply pointing out the mentality of the majority of VL owners out there. And keep the sh|tbox comment to yourself, to you it may be a sh|tbox but to the owner its their pride and joy.

P.S I didn't want to start a sh1tf1ght by posting this. Never my intention. I hate it when others don't appreciate anything that doesn't bear a Ford badge.

VL's are sick.. I stand by my comments
