Been thinking about this for awhile, bit of reading and a bit of talking but no acting.

We have a little bit of money sitting aside doing nothing so have just taken the plunge and like Iggle Piggle set up a BTC Market account and within a few minutes I now have a few hundred Ripple.

I did read that there may be delays of up to 10 days but it all happened quite quickly.

I look forward to the day I can re-read this post while sitting on my yacht I don't need or even really want

It was the over the top verification hoops that stopped me from looking any further.

While it may well be legit, they wanted absolutely every piece of information I could possibly use to id myself. I'm not about to hand all that over to some random faceless country less organisation.

Too many people are willing to hand over all their private details to probably Nigerians, Russians or Chinese. They set up huge farms in 3rd world countries where they can't be touched.

I did see some anonymous buyer purchased 900 million XRP on 16/12/17 at a cost of $700 million USD!
I'm guessing someone willing to invest that much into Ripple has a good idea of where its headed...........Let's hope so.

I jumped aboard the crypto train - minimal holdings at this stage...

I reakon BTC over valued by 30-40% - i am in on Ripple as well, looked at dash, ltc and ether as well but.

May shift my asx holdings across but they have not been doing too bad either up 12% approx for this year - dont want to put all eggs in the one basket...

Woudn't it be nice to have such a large pot to play with.
He only needs to see XRP rise by 10% and he's made US$70 million !

Even 1% is a cool $7 million profit.

That's a good point, because you can only sell them if someone is willing to buy them... Just like shares.

Trying to find someone to buy $700 million worth is much harder than us little players trying to offload maybe a few thousand.

He would have to sell them off slowly and in small parcels over time.

Someone offering to sell that much, especially at less than the going price, once he's made a profit, would definitely influence the market price.

Seems as though xrp is the ‘fordforums’ crypto currency of choice, next step is which wallet are you going with because even the exchanges say not to leave your holdings there.. personally I’m leaning towards the ‘Ledger Nano S’

Just take a deep breath and buy at the going price. yes it might dip again but the odds are in your favour for growth. Thats just my opinion. You do what ever you think is best for you. Best of luck to you..
