Spotted a Tango XR5 on Springvale Rd this afternoon. First I've seen in that colour.

Saw a silver TDCi in Blacktown 3rd Avenue then onto Sunnyholt Rd northbound.
Dealer name on plates was Hornsby Ford, any-one here?

Woolworths are giving 4 Mondeos [$29,990] away until the 05/10/08 promotion in the free Fresh magazine wonder if Ford is giving these away because
1.Not selling too well 2.New model on the way 3.Boosting TV ads with giveaways 4.None of the above apstar Last edited by apstar; 22-08-2008 at 03:58 PM. |

Re Woolworths - I think 4 - none of the above. Maybe woolworths just wants everyone to shop there and they recognise that the quality of the Mondeo as it has won some awards and may attract (I started writing a rather large piece on economic cycles and our oligopoly position with supermarkets blah blah blah blah blah). Maybe I'll go shop @ Woolworths and have 2 Mondeo's - one for the better half ;-)

Just took my daughter down to her boyfriend's home in Bligh Park near Windsor and saw a silver Mondeo in a neighbour's driveway.

Re: Woolies.
Looks like LX without the cruise packs. Didn't Ford make an announcement last week that they were going to start offering 8% discount to their fleet customers? Whereas previously there was no discount...

Did you see the Mondeo being driven in the new cop show 'Rush'?
Ford is a sponsor so I guess it will feature.

Count another Mondeo in Melbourne. I got mine last Thursday night.
I was at the shopping centre last night, got a couple of second looks from passers-by at the parking lot! :-) ----- Zetec Hatch, Sea Grey |

Welcome middleman.
I also have a Sea Grey hatch (a TDCi) usually seen lurking around the Melbourne CBD and the western suburbs... I'm starting to see a few Mondeo's on the road in the last couple of weeks. And it's not just me mistaking the new Falcon as a Mondeo...from certain angles they are eerily similar!

Thanks, wjf. I likewise lurk in the Western parts.
And I thought it was just only me mistaking the new Falcon as a Mondeo! |

Spotted this morning in Sydney - A Dark (dirty Panther Black?) TDCi driving down George St, lined up to turn right into Alfred St in Circular Quay.
