I can't hate the pacer either. Was built to be unique, it was even supposed to have a rotary engine, so it's whole point was to be very different to every other US car out there.
No point looking like something else if buyers not willing to take a risk wouldn't have bought it anyway due to the rotary. Of course once the rotary got dropped then the whole thing was a compromise and had no reason for existing. E: https://drivetribe.com/p/the-unfortu...TlKjgBcENBF71w |

I see one of these everyday and it still doesn't look any better IMO.
these Tribute / Homage cars are in the same category. If I had to write a report card for them it would say "tries to hard." Fugly truck award goes to....mid 70s Diamond Reo Raider and again the Tries to Hard runner up IMO goes to International Lonestar. Fortunately we were luck Aust did not to get either.

And good news, I have remembered another American focused monstrosity, the Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet.

They were made in UK after WW2, for disabled soldiers in droves, if you watch any 60's UK 1st division soccer matches you can see em lined up along the goal end of the pitch, all for free entry.
Cheers a Billy |

The yanks loved the Taurus. Highest selling car in the US over a number of years, and won numerous car of the year awards. But yanks have sold lots of weird looking cars the rest of the world hate, and sold them in droves. Weird lot over there. Quote:

I prefer the mk2 granada 2 door (the one that looks like a XD falcon, and if they ever made a coupe version). Only sold on mainland europe in LHD, though I think I've seen one in Sth Africa
This is the 2dr 'sedan' I think, the 'coupes' were fastback/hatchbacks on the mk1 version only Didn't they sell those mustangs here as well - not officially, but import with RHD conversion. I saw one with GT stripes on the roads of perth a few years ago. Didn't do anything for me. |

Hi Guy's
I never had this car when i was a teenager ( i wasn't that silly) but a mate's mum had one and now and then we used it. It was the most ugly car and it had shocking brakes and it was The Datsun 120 Y I feel embarrassed just saying " i was driven in one way back then". |
