Thanks AUXRVIII and Tornado for the pics and the info. The car is fantastic and beautifully presented. I am definatley going to keep my eye out for this car at shows. I wonder if the owner is a member on these forums.

Was fantastic to finally put a face to some user names
RspecAU, Mr Cube, Dark Horse etc The FPV TICK NSW club members were sensational, on saturday & sunday evenings they were so welcoming at the motor inn they were staying at and talk about funny Thanks to stretch, grizzly and others

The AU XR6 is owned by my uncles mate. My uncle did the supercharger conversion on it whilst he owned it ... He sold it to scott and bought the Orange GT that was next to it in the show. Both excellent cars.

It's an Odyssey dry cell battery, not a prob with mounting sideways. I would be more concerned with the plastic clip holding it in place, I assume he didn't buy it at the $2 shop though.
