Same, having just done a thousand kilometre round trip from northern NSW to Newcastle. I had a peek in each dealer I went past too and only saw 6cyl Falcons in white, gold or black.
Bummed me out, was hoping to have seen at least one bulging bonnet in red or blue. The wait continues. |

And don't forget, any FGX questions ask Callum.................
From his FB page As a massive Falcon fan myself I not only want to share my own passion but yours as well with the Falcon fans globally. And so far this page has succeeded in doing so, we are arranging a Falcon day for everyone which is aimed at being a hit. We are trying to do something for us all nationwide, the event is months away but gives us plenty of time for planning and maximum amount of participants. If you have any FGX Falcon buying questions or anything FGX related just message us privately for help. Regards, your favourite Falcon page, Support the new 2014 Ford Falcon.

It baffles me that people still pay any attention to this bloke. What surprises me even more is that he has over 200 people that have confirmed they are going to that event he has created.

I have forgotten why everyone is hating on Callum. not defending him but he seems at least to be having a go. Why such strong dislike for him?

Few reasons...
1. Xr6t WILL have the 310 engine on release. 2. The xr's have an optional S pack that gives bigger wings etc 3. Ford are in no way limited and will just source another transmission to continue making unlimited xr8's These are all "factual" statements made by the person who has contacts on the inside...

I thought it started out alright, I've followed the page since it was in it's early days, but now I just can't stand the bull****. What's almost as bad is the people in the comment sections of his posts, most of which wouldn't have a brain between them. It's kind of embarrassing. On a lighter note(and more on topic), I saw a Kinetic XR8 in Fyshwick on Wednesday, looked the goods.

Well I've only seen one when I was in Townsville but only a passing glance because it was parked and I was driving past.
It looked like a gold XR of some sort but it looked pretty good. Have not seen any so far in Canberra. |

You can't be looking to hard then, I've had mine out and about since November and I know there is a G6E T out there too. Cheers. Garry.

Congrats on the ute mate you'll love it. As for premium sound; in the wifes Territory Titanium its actually pretty good, however in the XR50T I have its a bit *****. Hopefully they've improved it from the MK1 FG.

Buying an aftermarket free air sub picks sound quality up a bit, I done this in my FG F6 and while it wasn't great bass it was defo better than the stock sub (rubbish)

I test drove a blue xr8 from Trevin Ford in Lismore all the way to the Gold Coast and back this week...
Happy to say it still felt like an FG which I didn't like anyway hence kept my Bseries all those years ago Not interested in a mustang either so my next car will probably be an 80's Fairmont Ghia v8 Kinda glad in a way because even if that car did rock my world I would have had to finance the purchase :/ Ahh well hope those who love it take care of theirs... |

The sub doesn't make the loose flapping sound as it did in the FG, and the digitial audio is great. However......The output volume is terrible, does not go loud enough, sure it doesn't distort, but if you hear a good song, you can't really turn it up too loud as it says "maximum volume" at a level I don't consider to be anywhere near maximum. The Factory system in my 200 series Landcruiser leaves it for dead!!!! Even my 5 year old commented on how he thought the stereo in the landcruiser was better. Anyway at the end of the day, I didn't buy the XR8 for the sound system. I'm finding my self spending more time driving with the window down and the stereo off. The sound of that V8 and supercharger is sensational....

I nearly fell out of my chair yesterday, saw an FG X on the road for the first time in Wait Awhile. An XR6, those hockey lights and the shape of the front end stood out a mile off.
