Why is it the residents of the 50 states,of which most are located between Canada and Mexico, call themselves American? As the continents of America extend from Canada to Chile does that not mean that people from all of the nations on these two continents are also Americans?

I suppose this a why is it, but anyhow. 17 or so years ago i did some recording on an old as drumkit that was shagged and bought for $50. I put skins and bits from stuff bin worthy off my drum kit. So that did the job. Ive been offered the $50 drumkit multiple times. Its a no for me as its a raging piece of crap. It sold for $6,500. That makes no sense unless people are flat out stupid .

Why is it...... people insist on doing 20 kph UNDER the speed limit, then, on the overtaking lane want to exceed speed limit enough to prevent being passed by several cars stuck behind them, the drop back to 20 under again when passing lane finishes? Does my head in.

Why is it when I am the back of a queue in the right turn lane waiting for the green arrow that I am ready to go as soon as it changes to green whereas everybody in front of me is still on the brakes? Arrow goes green then car number one goes, then car number two goes, then car number three goes etc. Why can't we all go at the same time and just modulate our speed according to the gap in front of our car? It is not difficult people! Watch the start of any motor race and you'll see what I mean.
