Anyone get a phone call from their ford dealer regarding a delivery date for their XR8? I didn't. Also Silohette or Kinetic? Love Kinetic but think the car looks a bit rough side on where as black looks great from all angles but has the standard black issues.

Even if they build the 1200 this a big country for 1200 XR8's I reckon u be lucky to see one once a year.. I've only caught a glimpse of a XR6T sedan that's the only FGX I've come across in the wild since December!

Pretty sad really.

Must say the FG FPV is a shape that won't age for me, specially the R-Spec and GT-F.

Having a bit of a range of colours to choose from on the FG helped too.

It means that anything that's on Callum's page is to be taken with a large grain of salt.

I have had an ETA and build date since before Christmas. The ETA has been pushed out three times and the build date one. The cars finally built and the guys are still having trouble getting it out of ford due to being selected for QC.

Cheers Ryan

I have been waiting, coming on 5 months...

Happy with my dealer as well- he has passed on what he knows and has been straight with me, and has kept me in the loop when he hears more.

But, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would lay a deposit, wait for nearly 5 months, and still have no concrete confirmation from the manufacturer at that time whether they would come good on the order....

I could understand this if I was buying a special McLaren or Lambo, but a mainstream local manufacturer- weird times indeed....

Saw some up close FGX's at the dealership when I dropped my car off for service.

It was only the XR6...but they had a victory gold, a white and a VG ute. Having an FG I really don't see why people are so opposed to it and think its ugly.

Everything about it looks fine to me

That is all

I like it, just not as much as previous falcons. I do like the g6e though, very nice looking.

From Carsales:
These are the first photos I've seen of an FGX in Archon Bronze.
I think it would suit the G6E Turbo really well.

You are lucky to find them these days for much less than that.

If you doubled your offer...

The factory won't do it, if it's ever going to be that colour it's going to be a full respray.
