AU Fairmont, silver; a couple of Duhig Ford stickers on back window, one partially covered by a 'NMFC' sticker (North Melb. Footy Club). Out near Keilor; Duhig Ford were in Essendon? Older couple in the car; original owners?

Something I will never accept as a Holden Sandman but was factory produced.

Gotta laugh at how people used to complain about Ford's "sticker specials" but somehow it was ok for Holden to slap some tacky stripes on a Station Wagon and call it a Sandman.

There were Sandman utes produced in the 70s. If wagons were cool back then Holden might of put the brand on them too. Wagons were more like family haulers back then.

VP Berlina wagon, white, full reg - original white/green VIC plates

Well, oddly enough i saw 2 honda nsx's. Both red but one had black wheels, an hour later saw the other and it had white wheels.
Earler today i was driving behind what appeared to be a 50's ford f1. Im not all over 50s american pickups so it could have been a chev or other. It had the patina look and sign writing on it. It pulled into the kings school.

The vehicle posted by roKWiz was a VF Holden wagon with the Sandmand sticker pack, a car Holden tried to cash in on past glories to sell a few more cars.

Like most Alfa's, except for the current Guilia, the 4C is/was a great looking car with a flawed driving experience.

In the lead up to it's release, people were highly anticipating the 4C. And when you think about it, you can't really blame them; Flamboyant Italian styling, mid-engine RWD layout, turbocharged power...........But, Alfa screwed this car up like so many before it, and probably many more after too.

The non-assisted steering is a common complaint, I mean why they did that is beyond comprehension when it didn't translate into a tactility benefit. The engine was ho-hum, the gearbox was poorly calibrated and to be honest, should have been offered in a manual as well. The chassis dynamics lacked finesse and did not take advantage of the mid-engine layout. The interior was needlessly spartan and cheaply presented with a plethora of Punto and 500 parts.

And all of that mediocrity could be had for a greedy $89,000 to $133,000 + on-roads. A Porsche Boxter or Caymen for similar money walked all over it. Hell, the ancient Lotus Elise and Exige were better drivers' cars and those are basically assembled in a barn.

If only this was more successful, might have been a typical Alfa, but what a stunner imo

Rover I got my drivers licence in one, solid as a rock.
Dads second one I had going sideways in long wet grass one scary time, 6 moths later the workshop boys were doing a tyre rotation and quietly asked me, if I knew anything about long grass between the tyre tube and the rim.

I think that’s a Rover but not sure what model number (3500??)
Initially I thought it might have been a Humber but I don’t think it is.

Seen for around $140k. Not a boat anchor though. Developed and test driven by Senna as McLaren Honda was at their zenith in F1 at this time and Senna’s relationship with Honda and it’s engineers was peerless. These days quite rare and collectible.

Just curious when you cancelled your order was there any incentive from the dealer to cancel or was there any penalty?

Unfortunately, this car will be defected by the next copper that sees it. Definitely not in roadworthy condition with smashed indicator lens etc etc
