Is the o-ring seal for that steel pipe, anything unusual like a square profile? I have a modest leak on the Territory’s one, and maybe also the white ute… If it’s a specific Ford part, are they still available? (I’m using 2:1 green coolant which has a knack of finding small leaks.)

Normal round profile O ring, not specific for Ford I guess, but you can still get new. $5.50 each..

Ford one is green. Not sure if it's a different material than your average o-ring, but for the sake of $5 why would you bother trying something else.
If the original lasted 10 years that means you shouldn't have to worry about it for another 10.

Need to be more specific, there are 4 different lower grille surrounds on FPV specific front bars, one for GT/Pursuit, one for GTE/F6E, one for GTP/Super Pursuit or F6? Which one you chasing?

GT one is obsolete which was a black finish, GTE is a chrome finish and can get, but they are (hope your sitting down) $1400. Just to confirm, we are talking about part 17D749A in pic below.

Gt legend, 1 last question if I may, for 17D749A does that need another part to attach behind it ? If I read it right , that one is 2 parts, the frame and grille, but the top grille is 3 seperate parts?

So the lower opening has a grille and moulding held in with screws.

The upper grill is the same, the third part you see 17C881 is an energy absorbing foam pad.

Does that answer your question?

There are 6 different racks in AU-AU2-AU3 Series, breakdown below:

6 Cyl: Forte, Futura, XR, S & Fairmont Sedans AU/AU2/AU3.

8 Cyl Forte, Futura, XR & Fairmont Sedans, Forte/Fairmont Wagon. AU/AU2/AU3.

6 Cyl Ghia AU AU2 AU3

8 Cyl Ghia Tickford Fairlane & T Series AU AU2 AU3

6 Cyl Fairlane/LTD AU AU2 AU3

8 cyl Fairlane/LTD AU AU2 AU3

So based on this, unless yours is a Ghia or Fairlane/LTD, you would need to find one out of any AU/AU2/AU3 that us a Forte/Futura/XR/S or Fairmont.

Hey mate,

Here is a list of all the parts required and their part numbers. Most are no longer available. I will need to go through and update whats still available and their pricing, but most are long gone now as another member not long finished doing the same thing and is still missing items. I think easiest option would be to find a wrecked FGX and get all the trims from it.

Hi GT,

Have a 2008 FG GT-E.

Looking for wiper arm caps, and also the y piece for the washers that clips into the passenger side firewall. It has an internal non-return valve.

Thanks

Wiper arm caps, part number BGF04178A, obsolete and non around unless someone has in their private stash. 2nd hand may be your only option at the moment.

Washer Y piece is actually part of the LH wiper cowl panel and you have to buy that to get the Y piece. $85 plus postage.

If this might help out anyone, I had issues with my Territory's non-return valve perhaps 10 years ago and fitted an ~$3 aquarium air pump non-return valve as a "temporary" solution. It is still working perfectly to the day (unless I have now jinxed it!)

Cheers mate, I figured most would be obsolete my now. Being a Ute, I need a few less parts. I see you can still get sunvisors online at Bayford, hence i had a little bit of hope. Clips wise I'm not too fused, I'd just paint the cream ones. I agree with finding a wreck but there were not many FGX XR UTEs made in the first place and people want more $$$ than new parts. If I could the get info on the smaller list below when you have a chance. It would be much appreciated and i will reassess my options. Thank You

- Both A Pillars ( G6ET fabric ones or just standard XR)
- Ute B Pillar trims and screw caps
- Ute Small interior light bezel ( nea rear window)
- Ute Seat belt screw caps
- Ute headliner
- Standard Map lights between sunvisors ( i highly doubt a sunglasses holder one is still available)
- 1x LH grab handle.

Thank You

- Both A Pillars ( G6ET fabric ones or just standard XR) RH Cloth Trim $140 or Moulded Plastic style $40. LH Cloth Trim $120. LH Moulded one is obsolete NLA.
- Ute B Pillar trims and screw caps (Guessing upper) RH $60 LH Obsolete Screw caps also obsolete.
- Ute Small interior light bezel ( nea rear window) $15
- Ute Seat belt screw caps $5
- Ute headliner Obsolete
- Standard Map lights between sunvisors ( i highly doubt a sunglasses holder one is still available) Std $200 Sunglass Holder Obsolete
- 1x LH grab handle obsolete.
Hope that helps.

Hi GTLegend, I'm after the three FPV badges for a B series Tornado Ute. Specifically the tailgate FPV badge (Not the F6 Tornado badge), and the two FPV badges that sit in the left and right skirts in the recessed area near the front wheels. They are a two piece badge, one part is the FPV logo, the other is the text FPV.

Cheers.

Hi mate,

Tailgate and side FPV Badges in this case are all the same. Part number BAT16237A, obsolete but there is one on eBay.

No drama keep them coming. So GTE will have a Bright Chrome Finish, still available at $250 plus postage if required.
