The last time I saw pillars that large on something man-made was on a building in Athens.
Said it before and I'll say it again, the mirrors would have to have a warning like: "Objects in mirror may be invisible behind all that body work".

In the last three weeks I have spent time in the new Honda Accord, new Nissan Altima and the Mazda CX5, and I own a Camry Hybrid so drive that all the time.
If you are in the faintest financial position to buy a FH Falcon, do it. I know what the future of motoring is bringing and simply by going by the current FG Ecoboost I know the FH has probably got family cars from the next 5 - 10 years beat for driving dynamics and enjoyment. Buying a brand new FH is probably a good financial decision, as you probably won't be interested in anything else for another decade. Plus split fold rear seats, 1.6-2.3 tonne towing capacity and room for 5 adults its versatile too. |

Spyman, are you the same Spyman that sent me (in NZ) a hat and an issue of Motor (or was it Wheels magazine) over a decade ago, back in the days of BON forums?

No kidding! How are you mate, it's nice to see you back I'm not on the forums as much these days, but it's nice to see some of the old personalities still drop by.
This bloke is the real deal people. He sent me pictures (via snail-mail, and to NZ) of the BA Falcon looong before it's release, a big deal for me at the time as I was a 15yo teen who lived and breathed Ford - and I wanted to be a car designer (I ended up being an architect ). |

You and I might know that but whenever you post here it "straightens out the trailer before it jack knifes". I must say if the FZ Falcon is going to be even more Jaguar-esque then it will look great. I remember when I owned a G6ET and saw an XF Jag parked next to it I thought just how similar in profile they looked including mirrors etc.. sure Jag was more swoopy but the G6ET in bright sunshine in Ego with the speckled blue/green flecks was stunning...still miss it.

The latest CGI is a little "soft" in the snout for my liking, I was expecting to see more aggressive crease lines like the Mustang..
Could we hold out hope for something like this: Last edited by jpd80; 17-02-2014 at 08:57 PM. |

Out of all of this discussion about the update, the only thing I can comment on is what we are due based on history. This should not be an EA - EB or BA - BF type update, but EA - EF or AU - BA. It was also due at the start of last year...
The fact that it is so far behind shows that Ford must have had doubts about building it for years, the only reason that they are doing it now is to save some face. Not that I blame them either way of course. Sadly with sales collapsing over the last eight years or so, we can't be surprised. I have never purchased a new one as I have never had the money, but I will be working my hardest to change that this time around. The last time! Aussie Aussie Aussie.

To be frank can't see how they can do anything but maintain or even drop some prices whereas the XR8 will be interesting to see. It used to match XR6T pricing prior to dropping of Boss 290 XR8. I would expect it to sit higher this time and be justified because it has the performance gain over it's 6T sibling.

I've rubbed my hands over four cars and the only diff on the rear has been the lower tow bar/pipe insert and front bar has been based around the driving light holes if you've saved it, the black car I posted look for the angled slots in the bar around the spottie area. spyman |
