Get there, do lunch, have a chat and all that. What you think?

I wont have net much longer tonight, Im about to go home.

See what everyone thinks once we are at Bunnigns?

Cruise itself was really good. Left home @ 8am, got home @ 8pm longggg day but glad I went. My 9 month old Daughter was well & truely over being in the car on the way home. Couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday.

Tray, I'll PM or call you one day soon when I'm in a better frame of mind, got a few hints & opinions for you for next time to make the cruise better. You got a few cars there today (& a few real nice ones too!) Well done!

PS Tray: what was with the SMS 45 mins into the drive back 'How far are you from the Great Ocean Rd Sign @ the Start?' I replied but got nothing back, hope everythings ok & you made it home safe.

Did anyone get done by the unmarked Silver FG XR6 Turbo Sedan that was lurking around? TUF260 noticed him doing laps of Apollo Bay just after we had lunch & was about to leave. I think he lapped the Street 6 times. Saw him heading back into Apollo Bay after I left, then I stopped 30 mins into the drive & he went past as I was pulling back out, followed him for 20 mins then a marked car come the other way hammering along & he swung around & gunned it after him too... Weird hope everyone was behaved!

thanks adam, yeah was a good cruise apart from GOING UP THE WRONG ROAD lol, soz guys, timing could of been much better and a whole lot of other things. well it was my first organised cruise soo i cant really complain - just gives me a better idea of what to look out for when or if i ever do plan up another cruise. i must say tho this was a very big cruise to undertake - thanks to everyone who came was a better turnout than expected and thank god the weather held up.

yeah that txt i sent you, i was gonna take some drive-by pics going past that sign, my phone was playing up and i was receiving txts from the missus that were over a year old - i know STRANGE. well i waited 20 mins at that location hoping you guys wern't very far, but i could feel the tyredness coming and took off home, left at 8am got home at 8pm, racked up a few kays and yeah. got home took like 6 panadols and laid in bed for a while.

: , HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!! yeah i know, i forgot.

All good mate, I've got a few other issues to deal with this week but I'll PM you. Considering it was ya first organised cruise ya did great, just need to fine tune a few things & get other people to help organise it. I'm happy to help more on the next one.

We all actually went home a different way to that, we went sorta Via Colac... came out down the rd you took the wrong turn on. Worked out good ya took the wrong turn, meant we picked Rolli & Tyson up @ the round about, they we're about to head home lol!

Thanks for the birthday wishes

yea was a good day. Pity the lead group wouldn't slow down and let us all become a group again. But had fun with our group of 7 cars which i tried to keep together. Rolli's gt looks frigin tough in your rear view mirror.
The fg cop car made us all a bit nervous so we soon bailed and had a good drive back through the otways.
I forgot to take any pics. we shoulda stopped at some stage to take some.
Did anyone take any?

I only got a few photos at the bunnings car park, here they are.

We were sorta scattered around so couldnt fit all in one pic.

Someone else was taking photos I think.

Was good fun, weather was good too, only a few sprinkles.

It was a good cruise guys,

First time I had been out for a while in my ute for an actuall car cruise and I loved it...
Even if I did put $156 of fuel in it. :togo:

Tray, dont stress it mate, you did well for your first go at getting a cruise together. If it wasnt for your efforts none of us would have been there.

Well done. :

Gutles, Adam, SOrry man didnt know it was your birthday.
Happy Birthday.

P.S Fry let me know you were meeting us. Lucky coz I almost said I would meet him at the car wash. lol

I hope your trying to keep your chin up with what ever is getting you down.

Glad you guys saw the FG cop car. It was near the servo when we left, but couldnt let any of you guys know without comming back.
He actually went after some dude in a van while we were at the servo.

We came back through the ottoway's too. Saw 1 cop out there.

All in all a great day, thanks to everyone that made it. :

Cheers...Kev

lol, doing power slides in my revision mirror and overtaking people leaving us behind that slow poke. had to pull over to take a ********, had a good run until we caught up again - team poor was struggling to keep up.

definately will be up for it again, maybe next year with some more people to help organise it - i felt so stupid haha.

once again thanks guys for coming, was good to see some more faces around.

Haha, I don't know how well team poor were or weren't keeping up, I ditcched me mate, and MY missus, and jumped in sorteds EF lol... (I've always liked his car lol.. and e-series are better than AU's we all know that)...

Our trip back, kinda was boring, we followed the great ocean road the rest of the way down to w'bool, then across to mount gambier and stayed at my folks then came back to adelaide today...

We only had 2 issues with the team poor car.. 1) it was a long trip because we couldn't go past a certian speed (pics below will tell)

And the 2nd pic.. was as we were pulling into mount gambier we're lucky it made the servo haha!!

There weren't many over taking opps that was for sure, I can understand why, but there used to be alot more broken lines than there is now.

I'm sorry I took off up front but I really hate using the brakes every 2 seconds, I much rather just drive the car if that makes sence.:eclipsee_

Dont get me wrong I have no problem with people doing 20 if thats what they feel safe at, but I will go around when legal.

I'm sorry I took off up front but I really hate using the brakes every 2 seconds, I much rather just drive the car if that makes sence.:eclipsee_

Dont get me wrong I have no problem with people doing 20 if thats what they feel safe at, but I will go around when legal.

totally agree, thats what i was doing aswell.... it just annoys me though that you arent exceeding the speed limit but people still give you dirty looks for not slowing much for the corners.... its a road that meant to be enjoyed.....ohwell it was still good, be good if there were more roads in vic like it....
