I knew Milton Morris, he loved English cars, said they were the only suitable car for the Australian Motorist. He drove a Morrie 1100, in those days.

Especially poor form when you consider the money he would have made over the years writing countless stories/reviews/comparisons for Wheels/Motor about local Fords and Holdens.

There is no need to drive the car to comment on certain aspects of the car, like features, safety tests, and consumer sentiment. and on the accusations that he is biased, well he hands out plenty of bouqets for the Mazda 3 being one of the best buys, but recently tore shreds off Mazda for their latest tv commercial.

He can take his honest personal opinion and stick it where the sun don't shine.
He's a hypocrite and rhetoric of the first order and like that other twerp Dowling I won't be reading or listening to any more of his emotional unprofessional "journalism". I also find when you resort to bad language, to put your point across, it shows you don't really have much between the ears.

Probably the most anticipated new arrival for 2016 and this clown carries on like this and with the language to boot! Ford OZ is on the up and some journo's have a problem with it by the looks, & this clown has lost any respect he possibly once had with the general motoring public! Bitter old man!!

So he compares spec sheets while talking over a slideshow of stolen images from google image search and that's a review?
Admittedly I'll make that comparison when looking to buy something new. See what's available, decide what I can live without and what I can't. But it's driving the car that makes the difference. Hell, I ended up skipping out the one techy thing I really wanted when I bought my Falcon, because it was a pleasure to drive. My gf has one of those 'cheap' Audis (A1 not Q3) and my brother's gf has the CX-5. As much as it's full of gadgets, the driving experience and and just how nice it is sitting in the cabin, it's light and day between the two. Admittedly comparing a small hatch to an SUV is not the best comparison for driving experience, but even so. I get some people love gadgets and others don't care. I love gadgets and tech, but I can't see it being anywhere near the deciding factor in buying a car. Heck, I had two specifications when I got my FG. USB for the stereo and manual. Ended up with neither of those because the Falcon was a much more comfortable, smoother drive than anything else I tried. |

Love the man,
He just speaks common sense with a lot of humor. He is absolutely right on this issue of drift mode on a road car. Maybe this video should have a warning, "Adult only Viewing"

Usually adult is just a label on something that is depraved. Very apt.

G'day...I watched John Cadogan rant about what killed the Australian car industry ..I suffered through it taking one for the team .Didn't disagree entirely with all of it but his sarcastic cynicism knew no bounds . Mostly I thought watching it was "Mate ..You're digging yourself a big hole here and with friends like you , no need for enemies". Couldn't ever bother listening to him nowadays..He's flogged the dead horse a few too many times..Cheers Rod

He went overboard with the whole VW diesel thing, then does another video for the one year anniversary...LOL
When he gets a bee in his bonnet he just goes off...I think there is serious mental issue, I've not seen normal people react in that manner. Obvious why he has been turfed by mainstream media... |
