One of the commentators said the other day that the next Labor PM isn't in the parliament as yet - pretty correct, I would think. |

He’ll be well rewarded. His investment is a drop in the ocean. He effectively owns our government now. That’s what he meant when he kept saying that he will be Australia’s next prime minister. Morrison will need to run everything past Clive from now on.

I remember a few years ago that their headline was related to an earthquake near Katoomba and the 3 Sisters were destroyed, complete with photos. Next time you are in Betoota, have a beer at the recently renovated hotel, and try to find the newspaper office. |

If anyone is out that way, they have some historic photos in there, from when it was operating as a pub years ago. Some on display were taken by my father when he worked in the area. |

I think QLDers will see through Annastacia Palaszczuk's sudden interest in coal yesterday after years of cold shouldering.

I beleive Clive Palmer got 100% return on the money he invested in a campaign of "dont vote for Shorten".
I am pretty sure that Palmers end game was ALP to lose, not for UAP to win a seat. As I understand polictical donation rules, it nots possible for him to donate 60M to the Liberal Party to help them win the election, but he can spend it on himself, or if thats not entirel correct, by running his own campaign, so he has full control over it to send the message he wanted. Palmer might be crazy, and not popular, but he aint dumb either.

Any of you blokes see the social media comments from the left wing snowflakes? What a bunch of sore losers. Our children are apparently going to burn, and melt away due to global warming within the next 3 years...

What, with Australia's 1.3% of mankind's 3% carbon emissions into the atmosphere's 0.04% carbon content? By my calculations, that rounds off to zero.

Clive is a **** no doubt but absolutely he is first in line for favours from the LNP.
Aussies are not sooks in the main so we will move on easily I reckon. Though some of the language in this thread. Alpha, beta, cucks, snowflakes. **** off to America with that seppo bull**** in my opinion. Last edited by MITCHAY; 25-05-2019 at 12:24 AM. |

Well I'm looking at five pages of discussion of the election result. I'm wondering what the people posting/viewing this thread think is better for Australia.
*Is Australia better served by partisan or bipartisan policies? *Disclaimer: This is a bipartisan question.

Bit of light relief....
Driving back from Sydney with a colleague and he mentioned all tradies love their utes/trucks. They may not get much at home but they have their trucks. At what does the working man's party do- Labor wants to get rid of their trucks and give them electric Jettson vehicles- which will not get them across Sydney x3 before needing recharge. He mentioned Coalition should have got an add, with video of a real Ranger in a crusher (This is what Greens/Labor want to do with your truck) and then show Mr Potatoe Head driving in a Jettson style animated electric bubble with tools falling out the back.
