Good thing you added the "dont quote me on that" bit. There were two silver bumpers there, and both were attached to the cars with tech screws! I picked up a bumper from centre road wreckers. It has some scratches, and the chrome trim is stuffed (I've already ripped it out) but it's better than my other one.

Jason, I haven't fitted it yet. I'll see how I go and let you know what the deal is. I want to do a few touchups and put new chrome in before I put it on.

Thats because you are from Bendigo lol :P I only live about 15 minutes from the diamond creek meet point

I was actually quite suprised at the economy I got, i wasn't being easy on it... The trip meter is still reading 11.5L/100k's... not bad for a big heavy V8 :P

It could be because I was running 100octane fuel, i normally use 98 octane.

i was running 95 in the EB, which i find gives less power but more economy than 98... (or 100). After returning home, my fuel guage was just under 3/4!! Pretty impressive for a guzzler.

Octane will not effect it that much.
Maybe the crusing and down hill rolls helped.
Or maybe you don't drive hard enough!!

haha! i was also suprised how many k's i got for the type of driving we were doing.
I only used regular unleaded, thats all I've ever used! Works fine for me, although I've always wanted to try 98 octane for a test.

Anyway some of you may know my rear bumper was sitting low on the drivers side due to a love nudge!! not mentioning any names....cough..cough...Mick..cough!! LOL! Well I took the bumper off and found that the drivers side bumper 'arm' as I'm calling it!, was bent down a bit, a hammer and a vice bent it back for me! So it's all good now and sits nice again!

Good to hear Braden!

As for my car, I got the bumper on in a fashion but I had some trouble with the clips on the side. I might try to refit it this arvo. I also picked up some chrome strips after dropping in on Alex at Coffee Ford so that'll make it look nicer.

I'd be interested to know what other work has been done to your car. I'd say 200rwkw may be a little generous (but maybe i'm saying that out of jealousy :P). Let the supercharged e-series wars begin!!!

Thanks for helping anyway! It saved me a $350 tow truck trip, and ensured the car was still drivable.

You weren't holding us up too bad. I did notice it backfired a couple of times though!

The latest pic. Jason and I managed to sort out the bumper in a fashion. It's still a pretty dodgy bumper I got, but it'll do.

It's got a slight warp down the bottom and a fair few scratches, but at least it doesn't have a gaping hole in it. Plus the chrome is now brand new!
