Hi Guys,
Remember before Computers and mobile phones came into the world people weren't getting ripped off by scammers.

In those days there used to be a Public Phone booth on nearly every Corner.

when as a kid/teenager back in NZ we has an ice skating rink near us, people caught buses in those days and walked past a public phone box. Those had their own ph number and we had great delight as a group of kids walked past to rung it, the look on people's faces was mirth to us in those days. Once we announce the rink was closed for the day, great confusion.

A while back my auntie was telling me about one of her focus group thingys. She works with disadvantaged kids. Anyhow, in this one group all the young kids were given picture books and observed.... Most sat there swiping at the cover and not understanding how the pictures werent changing. So yes, some kids are thrust an ipad from the time they were born, gives the parents a more peaceful time to shoot up.

For the last few weeks with my regular exercise walks I have seen local children/youths playing volleyball and cricket in the local parks, now that is something I have not seen for many years.

All day!?!? Heck, there used to be a time when mowing the lawns was just the curtain raiser for the day. Now it's just the main act. No curtain raiser or encore!

Yep, kids under 12 cannot walk to school without a caregiver or guardian.... Remember when schools were allowed to say parent?

Not in my lifetime, for certain. When Menzies weaponised national intelligence by excluding the opposition from briefings, it marked a clear point of self-interest surmounting national interest.

Even the notion of “draining a swamp” usually creates a new swamp somewhere else - likely nearby.
